Edited to say welcome back Mark, you were missed.

I might try them again on my next trip to Paris. I didn't like anchovies until I had them in a Salad Nicoise while it France and quite liked them. Maybe only the French can prepare them correctly.

 

Thanks for the welcome back Jackie, I missed being able to interact with you all on a daily basis. :D

This is how I would describe oysters on the half (raw)...I also tried sushi for the first on this cruise and quite liked it. Go figure. :roll:

 

I never fancied oysters but yep, I'll agree with the sushi as I like it too. However, after stopping eating meat a few months back, I've now gone the whole way and so I don't eat fish now either. No more sushi for me :( On the other hand, next time a jolly waiter tries to get me to eat a snail on our next cruise, I can just smile sweetly and say I'm a veggie (which may make him not try to push the issus, unlike last time) :D

Hi

One question I can not answer because never had them but the sound of what they are :vom: as I have just looked them up is no thanks.

I stick to a sea food platter if you do not mind .... get some nice one in Cyprus.... nice place to go on holiday, as they drive on the same side as UK drivers, sorry not right for our USA friends though as they drive on the other side to us. Once read that the reason for so many tornadoes in USA was cause by them driving on the wrong side of the road. That was in an article in New Scientist about 20 years ago :!::!::oops: and had alway stuck in my mind.

Do not think they are right as the UK gets them too but not as big :!:
