Plum
Has anyone ever managed to be the last post on each topic on the Board Index? Something for those insomniacs to try.
Redwing
Is that a gauntlet I hear hitting the floor? OH and I have just agreed to go to bed as he is bored because the Xbox is broken and I am not allowed to stay up once he has decreed that its bed time
HENthusiastic
Oh Plum, that title had me worried. I thought for some reason you were leaving the forum and this was something about your last post.... Phew. I like your challenge. I will try it one night when I cant sleep. Phoebe
I am not allowed to stay up once he has decreed that its bed time that happens in our house too, and if I decide its time for bed, its all, "whats the hurry, I'm not tired yet, etc etc."
bigmommasally
Has anyone ever managed to be the last post on each topic on the Board Index? Something for those insomniacs to try. So do you mean the last one on every board from "Welcome" to "Days out with Omlet" or the last one on each of the nesting box threads? Don't know why I'm asking I'm never up as late as soon of you guys! But I could possibly do it first thing in the morning around 5.30 and then I might be first to post? Sheilaz
Please, please, please...don't try this at home! I suppose in the early hours wouldn't be so bad, but there used to be daytime attempts at this & it would drive other members barmy, reading posts that were just there for that reason alone! I used to frequent the night shift quite regularly but can't manage it so often now. But not with that aim in mind, just good to have a browse and reply to some posts! Snowy
I think young Martin managed it once - across the whole forum - then got in trouble as everyone had hundreds of new post notifications and red flags to wade through Exactly as Sheila says
Angels4
With the time difference, I bet I could do it.........

Sheilaz
Actually, I could probably take up the challenge! (But I won't)
Cate in NZ
Oh boy, I remember Martin doing this back in his enthusiastic days, I seem to remember he succeeded quite often, having the youth & stamina to stay up late (and the ability to chat about anything....or even nothing ). It is achievable, in fact I bet with the time differences on my side I could do it easily , but I can't see any point in posting unnecessary messages....just gives people extra things to read, and after all you only have a clean sweep for a very short time, until the next person logs on and posts, so in all probability only you, and maybe the next person to post will see it
HENthusiastic
Go for it. Ignore the mods and live life on the wildside. You naughty Plum Pickle I never knew you had such a rebellious side! Encouraging people to upset the moderators indeed!
