EB are you getting it to keep your ex bats in permanently? Am starting to try and range mine at the mo but it's a bit of a nightmare because the batties keep running into the netting when they are scared. It's always traumatic to watch the bullying and it's always my bottom chook who is the worst when intros start but the danger comes from strangulation rather than pecking! Anyway, purple is lovely and I'm sure your girlos will love it! :D

Ali, yes I have chickened out of the intor's at the moment. I do intend them all to be in together eventually but I am thinking months rather than weeks now. That way I always have an intro coop (or broody coop) for next year as well. I just realised they didnt have the tick bit for ex batts on the order so I shall phone Omlet later, Am I right in thinking they donate something to BHWT if it is for ex batts?

I think so, yes. Good for you being so organised. I would love to buy a spare eglu, but the only way I could justify a cube to my OH was to sell it :? Hope your batties are getting on. Mine are so lovely and tame but terrified of the bruisers. It's great to see them free-ranging though, isn't it? :D
