fluffyknickers
I just realised today my chickens are DIVAS! In under two weeks they have me digging with my hands for slugs and worms to feed them, making weetabix and hot water, saving veg and strawberry tops for them, pooh picking, letting them sleep in the nest area, going out in the garden at the early hours of the morning to let them out, double and triple checking for eggs, dreaming of eggs and chickens so I cant sleep properly and today.... ...I took the glug out of the run to refill it whilst they were out free ranging around the garden. As I have walked out with it they have all rushed out and I then found myself holding a heavy glug while the three of them drank from it. I then filled it up so it was VERY heavy and on the way back once again stopped in the middle of the garden while they drank from it whilst I held it. Bloomin little Divas! Whatever will be next!? Demanding white walls, fluffy kittens and fluffy cotton bathrobes in the cube!?

Suzy
I moved a compost bag that was lurking in the garden and didn't like what I found underneath it, so I picked Regan up and put her on the ground - she thought Christmas had come early and hoovered up all the slugs, worms and bugs under there. It can be used to your advantage! But yes, I wonder how many others read this, smiled and went, yep, that's me too!

fluffyknickers
Terrible little madams arent they! They are particularly diva like this morning as I have been at work all yesterday and all today so they havent been out nor had treats. When I went out this morning to check the nest for the second time ( keeps going in and out the cube!) they all started shouting at me as if to say "oh here she comes, ignoring us for two days again"! They are going to be even more cross tomorrow when they havetheir visit to the vets! x

dancing cloud
Wot no sofas or tv in the cube? I'm well and truly trained as well - I don't refer to mine as "my lttle monsters" for nothing (and when the hens have gone to bed, the cats start!)
