bluekarin
Well, just had a look at the Trolley Dolly. It is yet another thing to add to my must buy list What a fabulous idea though! Makes you wonder why it hasn't been thought of before.

TBH, I just made that up when I wrote my reply, but I'd be happy to put myself in that group, too, with my Typhoon black and white spotted trolley that I drag around Leicester Market! fluffyknickers
Thought I would revive this as we must have more 'must haves'! I know one to add is... Tangle Teezer Anymore since this was started!? Michelle (who keeps seeing her new username and wondering who it is! doh!)
Old Speckled Hen
Michelle (who keeps seeing her new username and wondering who it is! doh!) Yes, a lot of name changes on the forum. Love it but good job you kept the avatar. I always take my Power Monkey to keep my iPod and phone and camera topped up when hubby and I go on our hiking trips. Wouldn't be without it. Ain't Nobody Here
I'm scared to ask in case it starts another Omlet must-have avalanche . What's a Power Monkey? I could Google it but then we wouldn't be sharing the info with the forum .
Lesley
I think - if you look in Other Animals - that puppies must be the latest Omlet must have
Old Speckled Hen
I think - if you look in Other Animals - that puppies must be the latest Omlet must have Ooooooh yes. I'm down to one dog as the old boy has been snaffled by my mother. Two old crocs keeping each other company I want a Lurcher or a Patterdale but hubby is being very resistant to the idea. He'd go for a cat but then I would insist on a Norwegian Forest and he'd have a fit at the price. Maybe I could just not tell him A Power Monkey is a portable charger with a solar panel, or you can charge it from the mains and it retains its charge for ever so you can top up your other electronic gizmos. You can take your iPod and watch Dr Who as much as you want I wear it on my rucsac. http://www.amazon.co.uk/PowerTraveller-Explorer-Power-Charger-Device/dp/B001GHD97C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1254293007&sr=8-2 You don't have to take all the bits just the ones you need. Valkyrie
Well we added a passata machine (oh what a good buy that was). Numerous amounts of pest control things, chicks, grapes by the zillions, cube and run, then an extention - with the extra support. Corrugated plastic, bungee ropes. Old fashioned sweets, cinnamon flavoured yummies (guess who suggested that site?). I'm sure there's more - not got round to Poet's sausage machine yet, but a machine is on the list of must haves for sure!

Valkyrie
Well I got mine from that Seeds of Italy site, but it seems to have changed since then. I think the other one was Lakeland, but I can't remember. Zips off to look . . .
Valkyrie
Lakeland still do one similar: http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/C/preparing-food/C/preparing-food-mills-grinders-mincers/psi/11 Called the Tomato Master. You will need to pass the tomatoes through a few times, but well worth it for superduper puree without the hassle of sieving it. Roast toms first with lots of smashed garlic (no need to peel - just crush), pepper and drizzle with olive oil - you can add herbs if you wish. I think we did it on gas mark 6 until the toms get all soft.

chick wiggle
Dont want to go off at a tangent here, but, I have looked at mooncups before but really wasnt sure about them. Ive noticed that quite a few of you seem to have them, are you still using them and would you really recomend them?
Valkyrie
I am waiting very impatiently not to need any moonies ever again. Tapping calendar and having a right old whinge when my best plans are scuppered. Lots of people seem to swear by them though, Wiggley. chick wiggle
Thanks koojie, sorry your still needing them . Mmm, maybe I might have to look into them again as they do seem very popular on here and every thing else people recomend on here is usually spot on.
