There is an ad on TV at the moment featuring Bruce Willis, Elle McPherson , Macauly Caulkin saying 'remember me' & then a chap, sort of heavy set & slightly Asian & fairly menacing looking saying 'recognise me'

 

Now, I DO recognise him, but can't think where from & its driving me loopy

Anyone have a clue who he is?

It sounds like the Norwich Union/Aviva adverts. The only other people I can think of who are in those ads are Alice Cooper and Ringo Starr (Peace & Love, Peace & Love ). Does that help?

Think it's something to do with them changing their names, I think Bruce Willis says something about remembering the name Walter Willis, and the others mention their 'real' names too.

And its not the name change ad either, but the one where Elle says 'Don't treat me like an idiot' & Maculy says 'Remember me'

 

I have the feeling the chap is a bit part actor wo I have sen in something. He looks chinese or Japanese maybe, is very chunky & a bit scary looking He has somewhat of a Gangsta look about him.....................

I really don't get the Aviva ad when Ringo Starr says where would he be now if he hadn't changed his name. Like John lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison really lost out by not changing their names?

Has Bruce Willis has a hair transplant???? His baldness was part of his charm as far as I was concerned. We watched the first Die Hard film with ED the other week he had hair then too, he hasn'e changed his voice though

He was but he died last Friday The pic is of him when he was very fit and healthy and my ED put him in her bobble hat. He was so cute.
