BeckyBoo
Because I got up at 0515 yesterday (due to a minor mishap whilst programming the alarm clock ) took the children to school cleaned the hens, raked out the big walk in run walked the dog, did the normal daytime stuff , collected ED from school, delivered MD and DS to Mum, drive ED to her first ever choir concert over in the east of the county (45 mins away) stayed for rehearsal, stayed for concert, delivered her to ex, went to work, started work at 10pm, worked til 7am, drove to Mums collected MD and DS, went home, made packed lunch for MD, received ED back from ex, did school run, made tea, dressed DS in his sheep costume for Easter concert, tok DS to Easter concert, made lunch, collected ED and MD from school, took them to fly kites on the green, friend brought over a flask of coffee, took my three plus three others back to the house, barbecue tea, (first bbq of the year!) bottle of rather nice white wine, other friend over, another bottle of rather nice red wine, kids in bed, MOUNTAIN of washing up, typed this.... . . . . . . . Been up for 40 hours! And STILL not flaked out!! Good grief, I hardly EVER work nights these days and I was SURE I would NEVER stay awake, but I did, then I thought I would NEVER stay awake this afternoon and here I am (somewhat pickled, but having had the BEST afternoon and evening I've had for absolutely AGES!! And I'm STILL feeling fine! Barbecues were always something I used to mention to ex, tell him who to invite then I would be in the kitchen, this time it was just me, and it was brill! Anyway, 40 hours and 9 minutes (the nine minutes were to correct typos - not sure if that's the wine or the lack of sleep!!) Night night everybody! Ana's flock
I hope you had a great sleep and feel really refreshed today. Gosh! you've got stamina! I find when I'm on the go doing exciting things and with activity I don't feel sleepy - it must be the adrenaline or something... however, if the work is boring or repetitive I'm dying for a nap mid afternoon! Well done in keeping all the plates spinning. I hope you have a great weekend. Ana
