All this chicken talk and waiting for photos of others chicks and hens that will be arriving has made me want to show off my beautiful girlies. These pics were taken a few weeks ago and i think they are lovely shots of them!! Only a few weeks until my 1st henniversary - can't wait

I can easily tell them apart, they all look completely different to me and their personalities are so different!!

 

I sometimes find it hard to believe the sorry states they were when we first collected them!

They are lovely I've got a real soft spot for the bog standard brown hen I've always wondered, what are these ex batts officially known as? Can you just buy a brown hybrid hen like these from a breeder? If I had space, I would definitely get me some!

Are they mostly Warrens? When we got ours they had lots of Warrens which they said lay really well and are very docile. They were nice plain brown hens (OH fell for the Daisybelle's though)

Thank you all. They are unrecognisable now from the state they arrived in and so very beautiful. OH says they are spoilt.....i just say they are loved!!!
