Valkyrie
Helloooo! Lovely birdies so pretty and so tame. I still have to get mine in a strangle hold! After seeing the slug and snail damage done to my cauliflowers (and telling my girls off for not doing their job properly) I'm beginning to think - hmmm, I like ducks. Lewis
Nice pictures. There seems to be 100's of chickens And I've never seen anyone store straw in a wheelie bin either - very clever

Barkisland
Lovely photos Josh - and I love your Ducky too There's just something so sweet about ducks isn't there? I would love to have some, but I have heard they are more difficult to look after than hens. Do you find it so?
Poached
thanks everyone Lovely photos Josh - and I love your Ducky too There's just something so sweet about ducks isn't there? I would love to have some, but I have heard they are more difficult to look after than hens. Do you find it so? when i had a big group of them in the cube [with no legs] i was cleaning them out everyday as they poo every 7 to 12 minutes which is quite scary but now she lives in with the hens they get a large tub of water each day which she gets into.a bonus is that we get a large white egg each day! josh

Aggienator
Great chooks, but I LOVE the duck One of my friends has some running ducks and some others with pompoms on their heads, they look sooo ridiculous. One day I will have enough space to keep ducks
snowcloud
You are a major hit, Josh! The duck looks so content with the Chickens too - I'd love a couple of Runner Ducks, didn't realise they would be so happy with the Chooks. Might have to look into that again... we have just got pigs (pics on the blog below) so one thing at a time I guess!!
