Cinnamon
You remeber the saga of the tumble dryer (John Lewis had to deliver 4 before I got a working one!), well I got a £50 credit on my card today THEN, I went to the Abbey National today to transfer my daughters savings account into her name as she is now 16 (I was a trustee before) I had all the paperwork, read it through, took everything in & they wouldn't do it as I didn't have her passport with me It didn't say to take one, & in fact I could have done it by post & I wouldn't have needed to post her passport. I had made a special trip in too....... So I closed her account, then phoned the complaints dept who are sending me a goodwill gesture cheque for £50 That'll pay for my new highlights on Monday then

Jules.
I am a complainer too- I think i am either too sensitive, or else just very observant. However I am a praiser too, & will write or telephone if I feel have had good service.

Lewis
I'm not really a complainy person, but it shows it pay to be! Now I just have to wait for some poor customer service ...
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Absolutely fab! If someone is lovely I always write in to commend and likewise if someone is a 'computer says no' foul person. Companies need to know when they get it right or wrong. Actually, isn't Abbey the one which has the fat bloke doing the 'computer says no' routine in the ad?! Or are they the one which thinks Lewis Hamilton is the right tack for bank ads?!
