LaPoule
I have finally taken the time to figure out how to post photos, so here are some of my lot! Enjoy! Cloudberry and Picasso having a go at some broccoli - they've only just discovered they like it Cloudberry Lady Hamilton is a little camera shy Peep is just shy - we have had her for 2 years, and she still runs like mad if you get close. She's called Peep because she is like Road Runner: "Peep peep - vrooooom" Speaks for itself Picasso's close-up (ssh - don't tell the others; she's my favourite ) Edited April 29, 2009 by Guest

LaPoule
Thanks for all the compliments - I'm glad you like the photos The photo of Peep is particularly apt, as she really is a bit like that- always on the run! Cheryl, I think "quite nervy" more than covers it I also love coming up with unsual names for my pets - no psychological scarring from playground taunts (at least I hope not ) tidygirlsuk - she's a Fayoumi, an Egyptian breed, beautiful, but skittish. Brindles chooks
What a beautiful little flock! And just to give love to one of the others - I think Cloudberry is beautiful, lovely markings. Been thinking of getting one when I get my chickens in a month or two - is she good-tempered? Congrats on your luscious layers.... LaPoule
Hi Kate - I have advised Cloudberry that she hasn't been left out and she is most grateful We haven't had her very long, but she is becoming very friendly. Certainly likes her food - she's a big chicken. Of course, up until now, I've only had bantams and small birds, so it's hard to judge She lays a lovely large khaki/greeny egg - most of them have been double yolkers so far

I read that they lay blue or green eggs, lovely. Think that might be my mind made up!
