Have you ever been a....

Recommended Posts

I felt like a VIP when I appeared on Richard and Judys morning show and Nicky Clark cut my hair. A Limo Merc from the airport, night in a posh hotel and coffee and croissants in the green room. Shame that I looked such a dork on screen until my hair was cut. They made us take all our makeup off and flatten our hair down to show us looking dreaful.

I declined as not even my husband has seen my piggy eyes without mascara and I was not going to bare them to the Great British Public for anyone!

I was a real VIP once when I went to a Dinner Party at the Sultan of Omans Palace and met Prince Andrew.

When I lived out in LA,

That is soooooo VIP!!! :lol::lol::lol:

Its just too fabulous,isn't it? :lol::lol::lol:

I met Kylie once too, she came into my shop & I swear she is like a real person but in miniature.

I'm as short ( but quite a bit wider :wink: ) as Kylie too, but I reckon my legs are a good 2 inches shorter than hers :evil: I'm long bodied :roll:

How different my life would be if I only had those 2 extra inches :lol:

And I can't remember ever being a VIP- except on my wedding day :wink:

:!: Does going to the Queen's Golden Jubilee "Party at the Palace" concert count??? I shook hands with Prince Andrew!

ES had a hug from Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman when he went to work with dad - on "take your child to work day" recently - he said she was lovely. He also met 2 rap DJs who were great but I dont remember names. Very VIPish

She is my favourite DJ, always positive, she seems such a warm person :D

Not as exciting as the rest of you, but I managed one year to get a ticket to the sponsors' day at Clacton Airshow (because I'd had to provide a number of staff at very short notice and got cheeky and demanded it!)

It doesn't sound thrilling but it was gorgeous weather, food and wine was fab (and free!), the company was lovely and we were in the very best place to see all the displays - I swear the harrier bowed to me personally! :D.

Every other year, I've just had to watch from someone else's office or my own back garden, which is on the end of the display run, and it was really great to have everything laid on and the best seat in the house just for once :D
