It's 11deg here and the cloud has lifted slightly, just so depressing with all that cloud and drizzle earlier.

 

According to the BBc forecast, we're due rain all week

Fairly dry but cloudy this morning but we've had some monster rainsorms moving through since lunch. Cloudy again now. I want to get some washing dry!!!!!!!!!!!!

It dried up nicely here......I've managed to mow the front lawn and do a fair bit of weeding.

Well the weathr was really wierd today! Sun then torrential rain and hail then back to sunny then the same again!

 

I was driving at the time and we nearly had to abondon the lesson!

After the cloudy start yesterday, we had sharp showers followed by hot sunshine, followed by sharp showers, followed by sunshine, followed by more showers e.t.c. !!!

 

A sunnier start to the day today- very breezy too.

I think it's rained every day here for the past two weeks.

My outdoor tomatoes are a ruined, mouldy, soggy mess

The last sparrow baby in the nest has died

I'm just going to clear the nest out and spray it with poultry shield.

Nice this morning too - sunny and bue skies, but the clouds soon gathered and the wind has got up again

It's rained all night and showing no signs of abating... it's forecast to be hideous all day long

Heavy rain at 5 this morning - eased off and I saw blue sky (only just) then it started again when I let the birds out. We have had a bit of sun, more rain, and now the sun is trying very hard to break through again. Mostly shades of grey up there though.

We have most of the new WIR covered with corrugated plastic sheeting but where the water is running off there are puddles. We have also put another shorter sheet back on the Eglu run because of the forecast.

 

Went to the allotment yesterday to get enough veg for the next few days, because this rain was on it's way.
