Well, I spoke to my folks (Hertfordshire) and Phil (Bucks) and they've not had any rain, in fact my mother has her washing out to dry.

Hasn't stopped raining here either. The dullest day i've seen in ages. The house is stating to resemble a chinese laundry and it's taking forever to get all my washing dry. I don't have a tumble drier so i'm really struggling.

Why does my computer feel the need to lie to me?

Chucking it down since early evening. Soggy teatime birds and soggy me putting them to bed. I swear it came down even harder once the birds were in and I was moving the little run over.

The rain cleared over night. Woke to blue skies and sunshine, but a chilly breeze and just 11deg.

 

More clouds now, but not the unremitting grey of before and *whispers* no rain yet

It's the back end here and I put my heating on for an hour this morning

It finally stopped raining yesterday at about 5pm. I emptied my rain gauge at midnight the night before & by 3pm in the afternoon, we'd had 45mm of rain!!

 

It's sunny this morning-looking quite hopeful... touch wood!

Got soaked to the skin, literally, in a 5 minute sprint from a car park to the shops this morning.

 

Brightening up now, but very cold. If it wasn't July I'd be seriously thinking about putting the heating on.

It has been fine today, cooll and windy but some sunshine at least. We had a torrential shower of hail just as I got back to work from lunch though.

We have had a couple of showers and it is quite breezy and cool. Sunny spells and I have got some washing dry today, with more on the line which has been rained on.

 

We lit the fire last night and lovely it was too

 

This week we have had the chimney swept and we are having a trailer load of logs delivered tomorrow, so we are ready for whatever the rest of the summer has to throw at us

It's a glorious sunny day here although a bit of a breeze. Put on BBC 2 and you can see what it's like live, just a 5 minute walk from my house

After some heavy downpours earlier, it's turned out quite nice. There was steam/mist rising from the roads when the sun came out - some quite thick and rose higher than the car!!!

Glorious from 2.30 onwards. Got the cube and red Eglu fettled.

Started off glorious this morning, I have hung the washing out but I've got a feeling I'll be running out to fetch it soon

Sunny first thing, then clouded over. We now have sunshine in between the cloud gaps and quite breezy too. Pleasant temperature that suits me just fine.

Lovely first thing......I was holding out hopes that I might get the grass cut, and even ventured to hang some washing out. Big Mistake. *tuts*

 

Cold and cloudy now and threatening rain.
