Yesterday when I went out to sort feeders and get the girls back into the run I managed to close the door whilst I was inside and my "handle/pully" thingy had unthreaded itself!!

 

I was in my PJ's so no mobile phone, OH was was out so I was stuck! What is even worse is that the girls were still OUT! Gin kept walking up to the door, cocking her head at me and then having a good ol' chunter to herself! I swear she was laughing!!!

Then she went and rounded up the other three and they all stood there mocking me!

 

I used my "jail" time well.........did a very thorough poo pick of the run and waited to be resuced.

 

I managed to free myslef by using the end of a pecka block to pull the pully thing.

 

Knight in shining golf gear arrive home too late to save me but had a good laugh at me

 

Suffice to say we will be tweaking the door/handle arrangment today

I did laugh as I did exactly same thing this afternoon, except OH was standing right there.

Lucky for me if it happens I have a big mouth and neighbours not far.. my luck all would be out... OH is deaf even with hearing aides!!! got locked out of house once had to get in through the dog flap.!

for your amusement it was left arm the shoulder then (sorry ) boob not little with head.. then got stuck & had to rearrange body & get arm up to unlock door. from inside!
