I lurrrve Facebook . For me (and I accept that I'm very strange ) it's better than Omlet . Only because, I hasten to qualify tings, I can log in & out very quickly, no long threads to follow, just a few brief status updates. I can see briefly what friends are up to, comment if I can think of something to say, or quietly smile and ignore if clever comments aren't coming to the forefront of my mind (the most common state of affairs I'm afraid ). If I'm up to wasting time I can instant message or play games, if I've got something to say to someone privately I can PM. It's sooo good for me . Oh, and it's not limited to chicken people........I've got friends on both sides of the globe on FB.

This thread seems to have stimulated a rash of friend requests on my facebook account! However, not all of you are giving me your omlet forum names, so I don't know if I know you or not . So, apologies here if I have refused a friend request to anyone reading this, and please do re-send with your omlet name.
