I have just sat in the sun and eaten a whole punnet of strawberries with extra thick double cream :oops:

 

( MyDH is away for the day!)

 

Have to hide the evidence but it felt wonderful and on the hottest day of the year what is a girl to do, just about to mix a Pimms too!

The Pimms was great, in fact I just happened to be passing the PC on my way to give myself a top up so here I am momentarily. I am having the most lovely lazy self indulgent day for a long time.

 

I too have a bottleof white Zinfandel in the fridge and may well have a glass later while I watch Britains got (not much) Talent.

 

Here's to all of us having a lazy day in the sun and apologies to those who can't for whatever reason. 8)

Ooooh, Archers and lemonade in a bit I reckon :lol: Once I have finished revision :(

 

But, have just had a very entertaining time syringe-feeding Kiwi the (brown rabbit) a load of baby food :D

 

Maybe as well as the Archers/Lemonade I might find some strawberries too (or failing that, baby food) :lol:

I'm refraining my self COMPLETELY from any alcohol until I get to this bloomin' 70's do I have to go to tonight :roll::(

I can't bear it :( I have to wait until 7pm before I indulge in a glass of vino :boohoo:

Guilt has set in , also found left over box of Terrys All Gold in drinks cupboard and ate 3. I have already had a small carrot cake with a cup of tea. days like this make me lazy and Oh keeps saying we could do this, that ....blah blah blah - NO its Sat its hot and I wanna chill. so i am reading Sat Papers and enjoying childfree, OH time. Just wat to be left a lone its too hot to do anything dont you agree?

I reckon you will be fast asleep by now, but how :mrgreen: was I when I read this thread...?

 

My two fav things you were quaffing whilst I stood serving in a wee hot shop all day by myself for 7 hours (finally got a pee half an hour before I finished!)

 

Will be thinking of you tomorrow whilst I stand for another 5 hrs in same said shop...

 

PS having a wine and lemonade as that is all there is, except beer and whisky which I dont like... oh yes, and Pringles mmm

By the time I got to the shops all the strawberries had sold out :(

I bought a tub of Summer Berries and Cream Ice Cream instead. Shared with my mum and my 2 nieces, while we watched Britains Got Talent. It's all gone.

I've stocked up on White Rum so that I can make mojito. Lots of mint in my garden. Yum yum.

I did try and do some weeding and I've burnt my back! Oh no!

That's what you get for trying to work when it is far too hot!
