Wyandottes are a bit smaller than the brahmas and will get less messy as they don't have those feathered legs, so you won't forever be cleaning them up! The only drawback with them is broodiness - between them, mine were broody for the whole of last summer, and one of them is at it again this year! I had a similar thing happen with my Black Rock, and I knew I couldn't have another one straight afterwards as she'd always remind me of Henrietta.
