Does anybody else ever feel...... PART 2

Recommended Posts

As they are all my friends from school I know all their parents too, and a few of my friends mums have said how I can't ever stop it!! It keeps them going knowing that they will have a guaranteed night with the girls and a break from the children :D

I do also have afternoon events sometimes in addition for the children too, as you can imagine the children love to come up to see the chooks!

I know they are looking forward to a Walk in Run party! The ages of the children varies from 6 weeks to 10. The 10 year old has even brought one of her school friends to see the chickens :D

Morning all. I lost the will to live last night - the computer was playing up again, so ended up turning it off - no wonder DD didn't want to go on here! Glad you had a good evening, Debs. What a friend to have - they are so lucky. Our neighbour (not next door) and buddy loves entertaining too. She doesn't mind that I am rubbish, although I usually do the deserts. We do the BBQ bit instead for them - but that isn't very often as she is always booked up doing something. When we go out for a meal together she will often savour flavours and work out how things are done, then reapply it for future use at home (which sounds like you might do the very same :D ).

Good film then, Chicky!

Ooh, WIR in progress - piccies soon then?

Glad it went well Debs, what a great arrangement for your friends. Make sure they never take you for granted though. You have a month to recover, heck I couldn't cope with all that cooking. Put your feet up now and watch the builders. :D

The builders are working hard, and are enjoying left over carrot cake from last night :D

My friends don't take me for granted, thanks for caring Plum.

Its lovely actually, as we have so much history. The majority of us have been friends since we were 3, one joined aged 11 at Secondary School and one joined 10 years ago when she married one of our male friends! Although one friend, I've been friends since she was born (I'm 4 and a half months older  ) as our mothers were friends. When we are all together there are 8 of us around the table!

I think its so rare in this day and age to still have all your friends from school. Our lives have taken different directions, but we are all as close as we ever were, we are more like family than friends :D

Anyway, back to the madness and chickens.

Anyone for tennis?
