joybelle
I agree with susan love the tennis. Just a shame Nadal isn`t playing. Bet Federer is over the moon!!!!! Joy x
helenp
Have watched for as many years as I can remember. Was a huge Edberg fan in the late 80's Won't be the same without Nadal opening play on centre tomorrow. Just hope he recovers soon as he is a joy to watch Not sure who I want to win. Hopefully it will be a good championship
mrsallen08
Love wimbledon! My grandma is the biggest fan ever and has been almost every year. This time she is going next tuesday and has row F seats at Centre Court! She took me when I was 12 and I have been a fan ever since. Come on Andy! chickencam
I love Wimbledon fortnight, I don't follow the tennis much for the rest of the year, but love the old fashioned aura that Wimbledon has and it is fun to get behind your favourite players. We were watching some of the classic moments on the red button on the BBC yesterday, some great memories. I used to watch with my Mum when I was growing up and have loved it ever since. susanbb
Just saw the end of the Sharapova match. She may have gone out but that SCREACH will remain forever. Also enjoyed Andy Murray yesterday. The boy did good
Alis girls
I'm afraid I've lost interest recently - I was of the Borg, McEnroe and Connors era (cue for youngsters on forum to say WHO?) I went to Wimbledon yrs ago and have a picture of Borg - not that you;d know it was him, he was a speck on a bit of green we were so far away
Olly
Another one here who remembers the glory days of Bjorn Borg! I'll be catching up in the evenings when I can, but I do find it a bit boring these days, especially the men's singles - it's all aces and no rallying. Having said that, I think Andy Murray is a terrifically exciting player to watch - there are a few good ones. I wish they'd bring in a 'no grunting and screeching' rule though! chickencam
They need to make sure that the up coming youngster don't do it. It wouldn't surprise me if the Russian tennis factories encourage their youngsters to do it and because they do the American etc have to follow suit it has got really silly. I can't watch womens tennis because of this.
susanbb
I had to stop watching the Sharapova match on Monday because of all the screeching she was doing
theherd123
Is it just me but do you all laugh when the comentators talk about the player Mardy Fish?! How could you call your child Mardy Fish?!
ubereglu
I'm glad Murray won today-was very pleased. Does anyone else think that Mens tennis is a lot more interesting than female tennis?
bluekarin
I'm glad Murray won today-was very pleased. Does anyone else think that Mens tennis is a lot more interesting than female tennis? I think mens is becoming more interesting. I went off it when it was all aces, but now the games seem to be lasting longer and there are more volleys. Andy played very well today. Wonder how long it will last?
chickencam
Missed most of it with everyone coming home and organising tea Hopefully I will be able to watch tomorrow. Mens tennis is great, but I can't get excited about the women's game it seems to be a load of screeching Eastern Europeans and Russians. bluekarin
Mr Murray was definately in a hurry today I missed it as it's ED birthday today so was busy with all that entails. But I read the score on ceefax and he did wipe the floor with other chap. And how fast
Olly
Wow! I'm speechless ... got in, thought I'd just watch a bit of the match, an hour later I was still on the sofa because it was so exciting. When it got to one set all, I decided I'd better go and water the greenhouse and let the chickens out ... good thing I did, as it would have been too dark if I'd waited! What an exciting match - not because it was Andy Murray, that was just brilliant tennis and all credit to the BBC for showing the whole thing despite the disruption to the schedule. We'll be lucky to see another match like that in this tournament!
chickencam
I watched the whole thing from start to finish, I had missed a lot of his previous matches. I haven't spent so long sitting down in ages The tennis was superb and a real treat to watch, a Wimbledon special. Andy looked exhausted at the end but he gave a mature interview even though you could tell every bit of him wanted to say leave me alone and let me rest. susanbb
Enjoyed Serena williams semi today. Really good match. Shame that the 2nd semi was over so quickly. Looking forward to the men's semis tomorrow. All I hope for is good, well fought matches.
