ali-s
Hello all Internet problems are keeping me away from the forum . I hope everyone is fine and well. So back to my request. Does anyone know where Flitflops can be bought in the Nottinghamshire area? I can't get on the Fitflop site to check for stockists. My mum is looking for a pair after I have raved about them to her. She doesn't own a computer so can't buy online and would rather try before she buys anyway. She has had a double knee replacement twice and hopes the shoes help her with her mobility. Thank you
Space Chick
I bought mine from the boots website.
ali-s
I bought mine from the boots website. Do Boots sell them in their shops? I haven't seen them in my local store.

ali-s
Thank you I will give mum a call and let her know She lives about 8 miles from Nottingham and can get there easily on the tram or Robin Hood line train. Might have to get another pair myself when I am down there in July I got my Fitflops locally but the colour choice was small.

ubereglu
I'm intrigued on the fitflop front-do they actually work? Where can I buy them cheaply and are the size 8's a 42 or a 41?
ali-s
The sizes go up to a 9 Liz. I have only been wearing my pair for a week but have seen a difference in my tum which had grown since giving up smoking, it has shrunk a little . Same goes with my thighs and bum which had also grown since not smoking. I am finding them more comfy than my Crocs. I don't usually buy flipflops because the bar rubs the skin between my toes, the Fitflops do not rub at all.
ubereglu
Ooh, that's good. Might pop into the place in town which sells them to try on a pair.

ClaireG
Which style have you all got? I've been looking online and don't know if there is much diffrence between Walkstar 1, walkstar 111, or walkstar 111 jelly apart from the price!
The Dogmother
I've got the black and grey walkstar, had them a couple or three years now and love them to bits. I wasn't keen on the new jelly styles TBH.
ali-s
I've got a pair of Blueberry and white Jellies. I have worn them all the time except when I am in bed or in the shower for a week. I have lost just over half an inch from my thighs

ubereglu
Well, I tried them on today at the nearest stockist and I've decided I'd need a size 9. Just debating on whether to buy a pair of not, Depends if I can get them for £30 I suppose really.

Aga n Chickens
This morning I bought a pair of slipper type Fitflops (no toe bar as I can't bare anything rubbing against my toes either) from Charles Clinkard in Nottingham. OH and I had walked into town and the sandals I had on were starting to rub a bit on the heel. I saw a group of Ladies marching around the shop and saying how light and comfy the shoes were, so I had a go.....as you do Came out with a pair for £49.99....not sure if that is the standard price or not. I also picked up a discount card. If OH or myself decide to buy more shoes from them, after so many (not sure how many at the mo....need to read the ticket they gave me), a pair will be discounted by 50% A good excuse as any to pick up a few more pairs if they ever have a sale. craftyhunnypie
I've just ordered some fitness flip flops from my Avon lady. Very similar to fit flops - but pinky! The chain of shops called The Original Factory Shop http://www.theoriginalfactoryshop.co.uk/ also do their own take on them. Emma.x

ali-s
Certainly has changed since I moved away nearly 19 years ago. I visit every year and do loads of shopping I find the centre of Nottingham a very scary place now, it is so busy and crowded and everyone seems to be rushing about. I have turned into a country bumpkin Still got my Nottingham accent though
