Does anybody else ever feel...... Part # 3

Recommended Posts

Thanks a bunch! Now I have the Andrews Sisters singing Koojie Woojie bugle boy from company B going round my head! It's OK Pimmsie - my favourite is Navy rum (dribbles at the thought).

I'll answer to anything. For years Kerry has been Terry, Perry (and as it used to be a boys name - I was referred to as Mr for many many years). Lots of rude ones. My dad used to call me Kerronius Konkenplonk, or Clodhopper (big feet clomping in big shoes). It was my brother that started calling me Koo because he couldn't say Kerry (he's 8 years younger than me and yes I used to play with all his cool boys toys when he went to bed). Rolf Harris had a TV series with a lovely cuddly koala called Coojee Bear (we never knew the spelling originally - I only found that out recently after googling - it's a place in Oz). So I became Koojiebear. I kind of like it. Much better than Fatbum like OH calls me, but then I call him Baldy or Richard Head abbreviated. My son Ciaran is usually called Ciz or Honeybunny. Erin (DD) is either Esme (Watson) which was a character in A Country Practice - a little old lady that was a bit of a nosey parker. Or more often nowadays The Wonderful Madam Mim - especially the hair colour! That would be the witch in the Sword in the Stone. Actually that is a better one and she is well suited to it. Quite often she is also called Emelda with regard to her ever growing pile of shoes. They are everywhere. OH built a (wonky) lot of shelves for the shoes. She has filled the space up and there are still loads of shoes everywhere - they seem to breed like rabbits!!!! I called my dad Pooh bear but for years because he kept scratching at his psoriasis we called him Flash because I made a rude poem about him (when dad gets cross his teeth will gnash. He scratches his spots because he don't clean with Flash. Er TV advert was Flash cleans without scratching). Mum has always been mum, or when we were little, mummy. When I am cross or frustrated she becomes MOTHER! Although my brother got away with lots of rude ones eg, daft old bat - which she loves.

Poor Sheila - Teabag sounds kind of grubby! Lady Grey? Dar(jee)ling (or Darling for short)? So what about Lewis? Dec as in double decker?

 Teabag!

 Actually, I really like that, thank you Plum. I was seriously wondering about changing my username as I'm too identifiable with name & location. I'd wondered about Teapot (should be tea-potty) but teabag is apt, I'm such an old bag. Is that what you meant Pimmsy?

Goodnight...ooops, I have to be up again in 5 hours....love from Teabag. xx

Marvellous, I have a good nights sleep and come back to Pimmsy and Teabag 8) . Lewis is still to make an appearance to approve Dec.

Well today is a very exciting day for me, as a get to meet another forum member :D

I was attempting to arrange a South Wales meet (and failing rather miserably as some of you know - JJ and KoojieWoojie), but I am getting to meet PurpleTree today. WelshNik was hoping to meet but is away this weekend.

So, I am going to spend some quality time with my girls this morning, and then meet PurpleTree this afternoon.

So, see you all this evening.

Bye for now

Debsie x

Teabag I would never call you an old bag :anxious::anxious: just a teabag

If you change your username to Teabag we could call you Teapot as a nickname not because we think you are potty even if the rest of them on here are

Hi Debs - I just sneaked in before you there! Glad you had a good time. Hope the weather held out. We have had rain this arvo. But at least I got to Poultry Shield the cube - spotted a couple of evil little monsters on the outside - can't see where they were hiding, but it's had a jolly good blasting. Next stop the girls before bed. Today we had 2 eggs - not had that in a while, Apache has been holding the fort for broody Sioux. I have just finished dosing them up with Flubenvet, so hopefully they are sorted inside, just the outside. Anyhoo. Pimmsie is picking on me!

Well that's good to hear, DD has gone to Bristol - nay, the other side of the water near Bristol Airport for a concert. I think the concert is in Weston or Weston Super Mare. Lovely, if you like muddy sand. They hadn't a clue where they were staying apart from an hotel - no maps so I am amazed that they got there at all. We had a call to say all's well and arrived safely. Apparently there is a fabulous Asda or in Zomerzet it's Asdal. Just what I wanted to hear - it sounds sooooo, exciting! :liar: She's not too far from OH's cousin - so if in difficulties there is family close by. :D
