My chicken Star has recently started walking backwards!! It only started in the past few weeks.

They sometimes do that to rake up bugs with their feet, which the then pick up. Hence the need to go backwards.

 

Do they play in the alloy wheels?

That looks funny Never noticed mine doing that, they do the scratch - step back but not keep going backwards.

Our Cocoa does that. She sometimes does it several times in a row! I wondered why. It was almost as if she was trying to get out from underneath something.
