Valkyrie
Hewo JJ welcome back. What's all this poking then? Is it because Debs might have the dreaded lurgy??? Hope it doesn't get any worse and you'll soon be back to normal. Er sorry - as normal as usual, er you know what I mean! Huggles for you - from a veeeerrrrryyyyy safe distance. Josh going on holiday? Happy travelling - hope you have fun. 5 pages to catch up with (I think it's a combination of noisy Em and cheeky JJ)! I forget what happened in most - apart from the poking - something about that seems to jog the grey matter somewhat. Maybe it's all those pages full of poking. Oh well . . . hate missing something. url=http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php][/url] How's you today young Laura? I have the feeling that if you ever tried teaching me another language (particularly the ones where I can get my tongue tied up) it wouldn't be long before you'd be doing this: Yep, I'm that bad. Our teacher for Latin and later on French (she was a really scarey nun - could speak any language) said that although I tried, I wasn't cut out for it. Pooh. Well that kind of got me off the hook a bit! Scrambleywambledy - a painted lady - ooooh where? Piccypiccypiccypiccy?????
Valkyrie
Arghh my pokey thing's missing! What the heck did I do wrong? How can I get cut and paste so messed up. Pooh drawers. There! Just like writing lines sort of like Bart.

Chickvic
Watch a film and the thread descends into chaos! All that poking - could have had someone's eye out! Debs - that really does sound like the dreaded swine flu and mine came on that quick too by 1pm I'd had enough and gone home. Hope you feel better soon! Night all Wondered where you were Cathy! Couperwife
we have been out for tea after spending the day at Warwick Castle - its a great place loads to do, especially good if you have children. I think tomorrow is the sea life centre in Birmingham (all teens were really well behaved really ) cathy x

Valkyrie
Ooh Warwich Castle - don't they do re-enactments there big time? I'm not sure, but I think we went there for a huge battle weekend and it was terribly hot a few years ago. Went B&B'ing with our neighbours too. Before that we took OH's cousin and his family when they came over from SA B&B'ing too - guess what - it rained and rained and rained. So many soggy Romans, Vikings, GI's, Boers etc. But Nottingham was good - we ended up there - lots of Robin Hoods running round the woods - I wasn't so Friar Tucky then either - and the sun came out. Hope the Sea Life Centre is fun. There are 2 sort of near. One down Portsmouth way and the other in Weymouth. Our 2 used to love them. Number one son had a great time this weekend. They went to look for seals in Morthoe (but they weren't around) and then Woolacombe, Croyde, Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and a cream tea in Berrynarbour. They packed an awful lot in such a short space of time - and NO ARGUMENTS! He was indeed a chatty boy today. So I'm fine today thankies Laura. I'm not even thinking about ironing and washing - because I will end up grumping around before beddybies. Speaking of which, I was up early today, so I had better get some beauty sleep HAARRRRR! I think I would need a lot longer than a few hours, few hundred years and I bet I'd still be the same. Actually perhaps a bit thinner, more grey a bit dusty. Very pongy. So I'll leave you with the youngsters again Cathy. Where's Clootie gone - I keep missing Cloots lately.

Valkyrie
I lied - did an Arnold Ssshwortsnegger (I know it's wrong, but this is the loopy section after all - now where else could I get away with it). I am probably going to get another wrinkle now. I was having a go at Deb's totty page, but I had to keep fighting a losing battle with the computer and gave up - although I did a bit of drooling along the way. So I really am going now, yes, really. Plum - what has Cathy been up to then?? One for Cookie: Nope, you are still blue to me. Nighty night. Space Chick
Well I woke, up, thought to myself "am I feeling well enough to go to work?", so got out of bed to let the dog out to the garden and realised, no I am not well enough. I could barely walk down the stairs, so I have come back to bed with a coffee. Everything aches from the soles of my feet to my eye sockets, I feel like I've done a few marathons over night. I HATE being off work, and I should be at an important meeting this morning, and a really important meeting on Friday...... Hope your driving lesson goes well Laura On the bright side, at least I've got a laptop in bed

Valkyrie
Morning everyone. Poor Debs. Oinky oinky. Just don't get any worse. At least you sound bright enough mentally, even if the body isn't willing. Clootie, perhaps you could help me with a bit of Gallic. I'm not sure of the spelling but I was told (bear with me - it's phonetic) forkygollich means earwig. Or is it something rude - I love the sound of it and sometimes I use it because "Ooops, word censored!"ody else knows what it means and I usually say "Oh you Forkygollich" like oh you nuisance, pest etc. My mum used to use Vladivostok as a swear word after hearing it on the radio during wartime. Have a good driving lesson. Lets face it all learners this year will be able to handle wet and grotty conditions but unsure what to do when it's sunny! I am now having to check all the postings because my computer wouldn't connect very well last night. Then I must go and sort out all of downstairs because I can't find anything - left mumsie unsupervised and as usual crockery, cutlery, books are in places they shouldn't be and the newspaper that I set aside for the Sudoku has disappeared completely!
