Woman eating hen!

Recommended Posts

Just a friendly warning i have had my coral hen & 2 friends for 4 weeks now, and for the last four weeks i have been befriending them and i suppose hunanising them, well this evening instead of pecking my wedding & engagement ring the coral jumped up and pecked my eye! I am now sporting a shiner of all shiners, you have been warned! its never happened with my previous girls but maybe be mindful of your children. I hasten to add she is a very friendly bird and no malice invloved.

I shall not look for revenge but i may consider goggles and a name change from Polly Pocket to ..... any suggestions!

If you see me near Sittingbourne i am not a battered wife just hen pecked !

Ouch. Hope you recover soon.

I mis read your post and thought it was about a woman eating a hen. Let's face it - not an uncommon occurence!

Now it all makes sense! I seem to be getting many more of these senior moments lately!

Silly me eye not too bad but do look like i have done a round with Mike Tyson, as for the title you were nearly right it should have read Woman eating hen , woman then eats hen! lucky for her i could never do it! although think husband could if he gets known in the village as a wife batterer because of her!

He also kindly reminds me that they are closely related to dinosaurs! then again so is he!

Oh you poor thing, I hope it heals quickly.

My Lulu pecked my lip once as I gave her a cuddle and told her what a lovely girl she was  Last year she hated wood pigeons and she's now transferred her attentions to our 18 year old cat Sophie and will run up and peck her on the side as she strolls across the garden, unless I see her and shout "Lulu no!" She's crafty because she stops & makes out something else has caught her attention & then darts back after Sophie when she thinks I'm not looking  after a few attempts and me shouting at her in my stern voice each time, she gives up.

OUWCH sounds painful, I was going to ask if you had bright shiny eye make up but then the poor old Dad being pecked kinda answered that query!!! ( unless, of course he wears shiny brightly coloured eye shadow too :)

They only go for my painted toes & then flee as I shriek.
