Yes. Rowan berries - that's what I want to know! There are masses of those too.

Rowan jelly on the hob at the mo, it's the first recipe I found, apparently it's good with meat (not that I eat meat anymore!) But still got loads left so will have a surf of t'internet later - I keep thinking they're poisonous, I was convinced for ages you couldn't eat them so am having to really overcome an urge to chuck them out! They're SO bright orange they look like they'd be poisonous!

Amend that - just found a recipe for rowan berry jam - mine will be a jelly as I didn't peel or core the apples, but it has BRANDY in it! And I have some apricot brandy left over from last year - wwll, it'd be rude not to!

Funnily enough I've just heard from a friend on facebook that she is making rowan berry jam! I've never heard of them being used before!

Wow for all that fruit - amazing haul and rowan berries are wonderful with apple jelly. Makes the apple jelly a lovely colour.
