Yeah we met 3 years ago - his cat was run over and I found her and took her to the vets. Sadly she died, but we've been good friends ever since. He only lives 100 yards away from me in the next street. He's a fantastic bloke. You couldn't wish to meet anyone nicer. I've been away for the weekend and heard something about it on the Radio 1 news yesterday lunchtime and texted him, as I know he skydives out of the airfield where the accident happened and is a freefall cameraman, and lo and behold no reply and then I've checked the news since I got home and he's been named now. He's so lucky from what I've read about it all . Just hope that he makes a full recovery - he is exceptionally fit but the BBC website tonight is saying that he is critical so I'm keeping everything crossed for him Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
