What is it with teenage boys and loo roll? You can guess the rest. We have a house with 3 loos. Way too many nearly 1 each. Last night ES love him blocked loo we think and well you can guess the rest. Two upstairs loos and bath seem to drain into same thingy and the bath flooded with yucky stuff :vom: (have you all had lunch) after a long haul got it unblocked with a suction thingymegig. OH and I toally exhausted. Now rationing loo roll with one piece each

Yup sure do  OH was so traumatised had to have a nap after. i spent all afternoon catching up on ironing and cursing goin away on holiday (too much washing,) teenagers for using too much loo roll and loo roll manufacturers for making the darn stuff too appealing  We should have that tracing paper stuff we had at school in the 60's and 70's which took the skin off yer butt. No danger of over using there, one sheet was more than enough. By golly the subjects we get onto, boy (sorry girls too) I've missed you lot - you are a tonic and such a laugh.

so if anyone wants their bogs unblocking me and OH are the guys for the job. Please provide a bed for OH to lie on after and I'll do the ironing

!beehaus orange! Oh thats what it is I thought it was a computer (or an orange loo) Sorry mods

Oh dear! Poor you! if its any consolation,we thought our youngest must be eating the toilet roll 'cos we got through so much!! Divine retribution was only round the corner though...he left home recently..When he popped back on a flying visit he said he was horrified at the price of toilet roll and it was costing him a fortune!!!!:lol::lol: I nearly fell off the sofa laughing!!

We had to do that recently too, after a visit from all the boys and a mass attack on the loo roll stocks. We did it by lifting the inspection hatch in the garden and in the doom and gloom we saw a tiny frog sitting amongst all the detritus!

I was the pole prodder and it felt strangely satisfying when it all glooped away! :?

oh love rodding the drains and that wonderful glug when it goes plop to unblock..I think its facinating..I even got my own set of rods after having so many calls out to dynarod..the chap said he never got ill and intiially thought we had a rat block or tree root but no it was fabric softener!Like Wax!

Yes I have two sons and the loo roll I find disintegrates well is Andrex and I buy those big rolls ..my mother use to buy for us teenage blockers was it Tyzol or something like that (tracing paper stuff)..wet fingers

I have caught my son wrapping it around and around all fingers on his hand..good asceptic technique  indie

We didn't have much problems with blocked loos with help from the children - it was the tree roots out the front that had worked their way into the drain and everything backed up many a time. Ewwwww the things we saw. :vom: Since the council gave permission to get it removed we haven't had any more problems - the size of the roots in there - masses of fibrous matted things!

My grandad would never allow my nan to have nice soft loo paper - it had to be Izal. Luckily mum taught me how to make it a bit easier on the botty - you had to scrunch and rub, like doing the washing by hand. On the brighter side it made a lovely sound when used with a comb and made your mouth numb and tingly with the vibrations. Er, we won in the end, all hail to Andrex.
