Also all the letter boxes are nearly overflowing (OH done the rounds to find one that people couldn't get their hands into and pull the contents out). Our sorting office isn't taking in the mail sacks or stamped and franked post now - everything has to go to the video/DVD rental shop that has an itty bitty post office at the back - bearing in mind the number of big companies (there are a couple of trading estate areas here) which must have tons of mail, I am wondering if the little PO can cope - I really doubt it as there can't be much room over the back - redikerous. Ooh Chicky has turned into a Guinea (pig)! So we have London Ink - when are we going to see your nephew in action then? I have been collecting bean and pea seeds to dry off for next years veggie session. Naughty mumsie has enticed some naughty bird (who didn't need much encouragement anyway) into the kitchen and gave her some treats. Apache has now pooed on the doormat narrowly missing OH's slippers - funny that - poo is attracted to his footwear like a magnet because it never happens near ours. Mumsie has been told off. Guest Posted September 6, 2009 Share Posted September 6, 2009 I'm with Fred -see a doctor tomorrow! My lazy day of course was anything b ut. After chopping veggies for pasta sauce I left that cooking in the Aga and pootled round the bootsale (lots of chickenalia which I managed NOT to buy!). Then I came back and potted on a load of plants, emptied James' pool - dug 2 holes and planted 2 plants, made pasta for my lunches for the weeks. Now I'm back to total exhaustion - my back is aching and I've decided that I will NOT do any work this evening - even though I'm teaching a year 12 class a course I've not taught before tomorrow - ah well some of my best classes are winging it ones. Trouble is that SLT are likely to come round and check that we have lesson plans for EVERY lesson - our one is evil enough to do it in the first week . Ah well usually he holds me up as a shining example of goodness - if he comes tomorrow he will see rather thin lesson plans. never mind - as my HOD and I have discussed before - we could run naked through the school and they wouldn't dare sack us - they can't get ANYBODY to even come for an interview! oooh I'm exhausted just thinking about it all.
