Sara-W
I went to Wernlas on Wednesday with my sister to pick up her 4 Welbar chicks. Now I really don't know how this happened but I seem to have aquired 4 new chickens . Its a coincidence that I had an empty eglu ready and pure luck that there were the 2 breeds available that I have been researching and talking about for ages Me, plot the whole thing? Never! So here are my beautiful new girls 2 partridge cochins and 2 rhode island reds The cochins are called Stella and Vivien, one rhode island red is called Dilys the other is unnamed as yet. I promise no more chickens!!

Sara-W
I think my OH is secretly pleased, although he could never admit it! When talking about the chickens he refers to them as "the ladies!" I don't think he notices he does it!!

Sara-W
Brambles, you should definitely take your cat basket next week There were loads of different large fowl breeds available aged between 16 and 20 weeks While I was there a lady was picking up her new chickens, the sight of my cochins made her want one and off her husband went to the car to get the "just in case" cat basket!
