Awful day at the theatre - purpose built scenery that's too big, only getting the plans today, half the crew not turning up and starting late so we've just finished ... but I won't depress you all with that :)

Night all :D

Lavender something! Whoohoo!

Hi everybody - just sneaking in! Mum just gone home - gee willikins! So much for Friday sleepover - ends up the whole weekend - I haven't had the nerve to make her go home. She says "when am I going home then?" Loosely translated sounds like - "when do you want to get rid of me?" And I want to say, "Now?" but I feel too guilty!

I've had a sulking grandfather. I always go down on Sunday, but needed a quiet day yesterday after being so busy on Saturday, so I phoned him yesterday to say I wouldn't be going down. He didn't half sulk :(

I went on the way home from my hospital appointment today and he has forgiven me, especially when I had 2 new girls to tell him all about :D

The other Friday when I had one of my old friends over (which mum knew about, because we were talking about her and her family), mum rang to ask if she could come over. DD took the call and relayed the messages. I said OK but remember I had Carol here. Oh, well I won't come then. You can come tomorrow if you prefer then. No thank you. Then she put the phone down on Erin (who said "oh she didn't want to talk to me either" Was she speaking with a clipped tone? Yes). My friend said that her mum was exactly the same so we had a laugh at them.

So I let her sulk for the rest of the weekend - I was not going to behave as if I was a naughty little girl. OH sorted her out and buttered her up eventually (oh he's such a nice boy - hmmph). Fancy asking my mum permission to have a friend come and play at the age of 51! I said to Erin, if I do that - shoot me! I think she would be delighted, so I might have put my foot in it with regards to getting old - I may not last that long now!
