............one of these (cube red) from Darlington.....yes Darlington is a very long way from my house........yes it was worth it........and no I am not mad..........and as I passed lots of place names I only really see on people's signatures I waved at Koojie & JLo, and Redwing and Egluntyne and Couperman & Couperwife as I drew nearer to my destination at Charley-says's house :wink: DH thought I'd lost the plot :anxious: I also had a text conversation with Palmer07 & Cookie Monster & Redwing who were also on long chook house journeys :D

 

Then on the way home today, I met up with Redwing who handed over these two little darlings in a motorway service station :anxious: ..........

The Frizzle has been named Oak by DS, and the flat is Lavender courtesy of DD...

Hurray! all good purchases but Zebedee has thrown a strop now his two ladies are gone, he looked delighted to have a mini hareem....for 24 hours :lol:

 

Tasha, were they from the same pen...so are they potentially related......if not maybe they could have a weekend break with Zebedee in the springtime either here or there...& share any resulting chicks......... :think: ?

I'm not quite sure I understand the long journey for the Cube, I'm assuming it was a second-hand purchase, but I'm sure it was well worth it! Those two look lovely. What a great way to spend your weekend!

 

Yes it was "pre-loved", and it was great to have DH to myself for the weekend, and we also combined the trip with a stay with friends who we have been promising to visit for 20 years or so :shock: and another friend & his daughter briefly on the way back too, so all in all a very productive 48hours..and DH is staying home tomorrow until he builds the (cube red) for the bantams to go into so the newbies can go into the (pink eglu):anxious:

 

The children were so excited to see/hear about the newbies, I hadn't told them :shh:
