Plum
...eventually. Went to check out a Welbar I reserved and fell for another so am collecting two tonight. I am so excited. They are a Welbar and a Buff Sussex, Welbar cross. Dad jumped into another pen I'm not sure which is the father, I'll have to find out when I pick them up. So cute little chickens with little pink combs. Ahhhh.

Plum
Sorry no pics yet it was getting dark when I got home. They are really scrumptious. The Welbar is so pretty and the other little girl has buff sussex markings and dark bits on some of her wing feathers too and the odd one on her back. Her dad was the naughty welbar who got in with the sussex ladies. Had a horrid day two teeth out and no way was I going to work with no plate in, which is why I was off. So now teeth again and two girls. The others had a bit to say will see what happens in the morning. Quite a lot of chatter I should think. Plum
Oh don't he'd never let me take any animal in there. They are 24 weeks and 18 weeks so not really babies but they are so small and young compared with the others. And look a lot younger than others were when I got them at POL, well they laid after several weeks. Mmm chocolate must suck chocolate. Plum
Well to introduce my babies. I'd love a duck so................... here is Eider (Ida) and Robin (Robyn) who has a red breast. They are a bit short of tailfeathers and look more like exbats in that department But they have lots of new feather spikes. They were in a run with lots of others the same size and various ages and all seemed to peck eachother as they walked by. Robyn pecked Ida on the head several times yesterday but they are fine today just terrified of me, so there will be lots of cuddles until they get used to me. They won't eat sweetcorn or grapes Perhaps they aren't chickens

Plum
It's not an extension Tom. It's a small run I made attached to a small beehive type chicken house, just placed next to the cube run. Hope they don't have to be in there too long.
