ClaireG
Morning crazy peeps Hope your feeling a bit better today Scrambly Wambly. I've got a busy day today. Already cleaned out the girls and moved the Vorwerks into the intro dog crate in the WIR. I'm off to get 3 more chooks in a bit Then we're bringing them home installing them in the eglu and going off to the inlaws.
Valkyrie
Howdy peeps - how's the Scramble today? Fingers, legs, eyes - you name it - hair etc! all crossed for Clootieboy. Lewis that gerbilydoodah looks brill. Just come back from Newlyns Farm - they are having an open morning thingy - lots of tastings. We came back with watercress and beer sausages (yummmmm - had them before) and some Tunworth cheese (bit like Camembert/Brie and made just up the road - yummmmmmmm) and some bread. I would have tasted the cholocate bread but I very stupidly stuffed a peppermint in my mouth as I got out of the car. Why WHY WHY?????????? Because I do it automatically. Valkyrie
I gather my DS is somewhere in Fareham. And the flowers aren't for her - they are for the photographer?? Apparently they went to see the Twighlight film yesterday - he thought he was in for a boring vampirey chicky flicky. Ooh must remember the cakes and birthday bits for tomorrow MiniClootie's big day. And how old will she be then? Will she have to have it all blended for easier swallowing? Or is she tons better now?
Geoid
Good afternoon everyone! (No I haven't just woken up) Saw 2012 yesterday, its a good film, but not excellent. New chickens tomorrow (I hope), getting one that lays or

Valkyrie
Aha bouncing off the wall is she - stir crazy! 14 eh? Won't be long before you will need the fire brigade to help her with the candles. Here's hoping she can partay. We now have some very smelly cheese cooking - cut a cross in the top and drizzle olive oil and crush some garlic on it. Gas mark 4 (or on my cooker = 7 o'clock because the marks have been washed off ) for 10/15 mins.

Space Chick
Hello all I am back from the cinema, the film was BRILLIANT!!! Although I cried 3 times It was really funny as it was me, my sister and a gazillion teenage girls. The girls were quite funny though, as when Jacob took his shirt off they all cheered I'm still a Team Cullen girl though Cloots - Hope DD has a good birthday and all goes well for DS interview. Koojie - Glad you had fun, but not sure I like the sound of the cheese. Fred - Yey on making stock Josh - Well done on the ex batts JJ - Glad you are feeling better Claire - Sounds like you've had a busy morning, and an even busier rest of day! See you later! Valkyrie
The cheese is lovely - but don't add the garlic. We all had nice and crunchy garlic which led us to munch loads of peppermints before we went to Snow and Rock in Chertsey. Mum has a winter coat on order and has bought herself some rather fancy t-shirts thermally thingies. I bought some walking socks as my old walking socks seem to have walked away (apart from one pair). So now I'm really up for the walking sessions. We also bought some dried meals for Ciaran for Christmas - a bit better quality than Pot Noodles - like Spaghetti bollyoggyknees, beef stew and dumplings and chicken tikka with rice. And before we went in the shop - more peppermints, and more getting back in the car. Still, we should all be cold virus resistant now - because "Ooops, word censored!"ody comes near us including vampires.
Lewis
about the garlic! What phone did you buy? I got a phone for my birthday but it reboots itself all the time (4 times on Friday ) so all settings and texts are lost! LG know its a fault and they all do it and they said you can get a replacement, but if they all do it, whats the point? They won't do a software upgrade for it either. My friend got a new iPhone for £50 + £15 a month so I might look at that in January

Space Chick
Shame, I think the OU bit would be good to keep in Have an iPhone Lewis, they are FAB!!!!!! I LOVE mine, it is the greatest bit of kit I have ever had (even better than the chookcam )
Lewis
I've been looking on the Orange website and they are £30 a month so I'll ask her where it came from. Another friend of mine bought one a few months ago and I know she doesn't use it so I might ask can I buy it off her. The only think I worry about is the screens and the size of it, I spoke to 2 people this week at school who have cracked the screens in blazer pockets and they're expensive to replace. Would be to have one though I'll see how much money I get for birthday + christmas and have a look in Jan I'm not too hopeful about passing OU so its probably a good thing I left it out
Geoid
I wanted an iPhone but too expensive for me. I like having a physical keyboard too.
Space Chick
Lewis, you can get these plastic skin things to protect the screens on iPhones. Phil has one on his (as he breaks everything ). I, of course, do not need one on mine (Now I've said that I bet I'll break my screen )
Lewis
This is also true about the keyboard, mine a touchscreen one and it takes forever to type out a text! Hmmmmm will have to now
Lewis
Have found someone with a brand new gerbilarium for sale £40 but its in London ... she's willing to post it and 'negotiate the price' I've been really cheeky and said £30 so maybe we'll meet half way And I've had an email from another breeder who has some ready in a few weeks and she can hold us 2 or 3 for christmas. I'd rather go through a breeder rather than PAH so I know she knows about gerbils, and they're more likely to be friendly Looks like gerbils are winning at the moment
