Charlottechicken
Bought anything from one of those shopping channels? Well? Come on, admit it! I have just taken delivery of my parcel , couldn't help myself , and less than £25 with p+p. I bought some car care stuff, you don't need to use water with it to clean the car, I will try it out over the weekend.
Cinnamon
I bought some face stuff once - can't remeber the name but it was a kind of powder that looked like a foundation when on. It was really good, but I never got around to using it much so I sold it on eBay for the same as I paid for it
Popcorn
Hands up here. I bought some 'diamondique' earings for my wedding day. They were lovely and very sparkly. Not bought anything since though. Don't get time to sit and veg anymore although I did see a sale the other night. It was a steam cleaner for carpets and flooring, and I was VERY tempted I don't mind telling you. Worked a treat.

Lesley
I found the Shopping channels while laid up with a damaged knee - I bought an Air Walker machine while i still had a full leg plaster cast on It was the best thing i ever bought - I could use it with plaster on and being able to move again was wonderful. I also bought a Jack LaLainne juicer - it takes a whole apple you know I still use that as well. I managed to get through a couple of hundred pounds whilst sitting on my backside

chelsea
im a regular buyer with QVC, they have some excellent bargains. We recently bought our plasma tv from them. I also am a regular with their make up and skin care brands - they sell quite a few top brands. Ive always found their postage and delivery cheap and sometimes comes within 2 days! my mum is worse than me - for jewellery - they sell Butler & Wilson (not sure if everyone's heard of them - posh london costume jeweller) but my mum has a whole dressing table drawer of the stuff

Lesley
I also bought a Jack LaLainne juicer - it takes a whole apple you know. I still use that as well. Is it any good? Yes, it is. It produces very little pulp and what pulp there is, is dry, as they say on the advert. It is easy to take apart and most of it goes into a dishwasher. I'm still to lazy to use it as often as I could

One Man Banned
Sticks hand up to admit that Christmas 2005 was a busy time and I bought quite a few things from the situp.tv channels, haven't seen anything remotely interested on there since tho.. I agree about Liz Earle, and can recommend her products (cleanse and polish!!!), they are worth trying if you are prone to eczema, or other skin complaints as they are natural and mild. I would highly recommend that you try buying direct from her website, it is cheaper than QVC and so is the p+p. The delivery times are super quick too! www.lizearle.com

Looney
I bought a fab green leather handbag from a shopping channel (it is fab honest, sounds a bit grim when written down! ). All the blokes at work hate it - although why they think I should be interested in their taste in handbags I'm not sure..... It cost me about £23 including p&p. Charlottechicken
In two years I have only purchased three things from shopping channels, and now, since new year I am on my second purchase already! Last night I was taken by the beautiful Artscape tops on QVC and found they had loads of what they call extra small (34 inch bust) left, even though they said they were sold out. I bought three (but two were £13.64 and the other was £15) I bought a fab green leather handbag from a shopping channel (it is fab honest, sounds a bit grim when written down! ). All the blokes at work hate it - although why they think I should be interested in their taste in handbags I'm not sure..... It cost me about £23 including p&p. Is that a Tommy and Kate? Some of those bags look lovely, and the colours are beautiful! Oooh, Thanks Claire...didnt know you could buy direct. Cleanse and polish is fab I think the max p+p is £3 and three 100ml pumps of cleanse and polish are about £27 from her site. You can buy anythime as well and don't have to wait for it to come on the telly! As I said the delivery is about 2 days too, and she is situated on the Isle of Wight. There is a shop if you ever go there.

Keeping my eye for other bright bag bargains although I'll have to wait until I'm next off sick and can watch the shopping channels for hours Trying to avoid going on the internet site as would be far too tempted
Charlottechicken
That's the only problem, you might have to sit through hours of duvet sets and ornaments until another bag bargain comes along!

Charlottechicken
What's a Tommy and Kate? I'm a closet handbag freak. It is a brand of leather handbags they sell on the bid tv and price-drop tv auction channels, Egluntine. They look rather nice on screen, so it was good that Lorna posted and confirmed that she was pleased with the quality. They make the bags in a rainbow of colours, and lots of different styles, and sometimes they have matching purses and make up bags too! Oh no, I just found the website! *sits on hands*

Charlottechicken
Quick...what's the address!!! I think these are the web addresses: www.bid.tv www.price-drop.tv The duvet sets they have been selling recently are really pretty. Be warned, the p+p prices are HIGH, so remember to factor that in to the price you are willing to pay!
Popcorn
what about aveda?! Aveda is the best thing since sliced bread isn't it Chelsea. If I could afford it I'd use nothing else. Ever. Sadly, I have to make do with Superdrugs own these days Just no comparison.
AnnieP
Beauty products and Make up? What's that? I cannot put make up on to save my life: I end up looking like a pantomime character, so I don't bother! nor any "cream stuff" either... perhaps that's why I look so wrinkly and haggered! I DO get my eyelashes dyed once every 6 weeks, otherwise, it looks like I haven't got any! I have never seen a shoping channel..... I now feel very inadequate....
