ubereglu
I put up our christmas tree today! It's four foot tall and gets stood on top of a little table in the corner of our living room, sandwiched between the sofa and a shelf, then presents slowly get piled up underneath it! The tree has a large selection of baubles, both plastic and some quite old glass ones, as well as some knitted ones and other handmade ones too! In the porch I put up the old set of fairy lights! Reikiranf
I put our decs up yesterday, big snowflake light on front door, tree in dining room decorated with blue and silver baubles and white beads and I put crystal effect sparkly lights across the mantlepiece. The tree in the lounge has green, gold and bronze baubles and bronze beads, I have a white feather wreath with lights near the tv and a christmas tree and a snowman crystal tealight holders at either end of the mantlepiece. The cards will go up when I find the bluetack

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Here's what you do. Get an outdoor plant pot. Fill it with well-packed earth; or if you want something more permanent, concrete or plaster with a bit of metal tube set in it. Looks nicer as a stand, and you can still use your tree. Valkyrie
Is that a Starbucks cup decoration I can see there? I spy shining lights - mine didn't show up at all - the flash took a lot of colour out of the pics.

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
You can buy a paper cup decoration?! Why not just put string through an espresso take out cup? What next, coke cans on the tree?! Empty Monster Munch packets?! I'm amazed they do them! They're quite sweet, but living in a coffee shop vacuum these days, I'm astonished at what they come up with to bulk out the coffers! Lovely lovely tree. Love its squishy green hugeness. Proper!
