Update on my chicks

They are quite sad but I did say that they could keep them if they wanted too.

 

I don't think that they realised how attached they were to them.

 

I will let this breeder know that his partridge buff columbian pekins are attracting attention.

His lavender cuckoos were gorgeous too...none ready to go until later this year though.

Wow how gorgeous - oh dear I've said that already! :oops: Anyhow lucky boys and really lucky you. There's always another time for the in-laws. :Dpiccypiccy's????

 

Ooooh the buff Columbian ones sound lovely - I could have another Mini me for Squirt - the partridge in it makes it just a little different. Adds more paper to ever growing list because I've run out of space of wants. :oops:

I may have omitted in my previous post that the breeder also gave me some salmon pekin hatching eggs.

I messed up last time I hatched as I let hubby get too attached to the boys. Salmons are easily sexed from early on as the boys are dark and mottled and the girls are yellow. They are the nearest you can get to an autosexing pekin apparently.
