As a lot of you know,I am cooking a christmas dinner for 22 members of my family tomorrow. I always have to loan plates off my mum as obviously I don't own 22. Well, today I have done my mums food shopping for her,and then picked up loads of christmas pressies

which have to be shared out amongst the family tomorrow.There was a huge heavy box with mine and my OH's name on it and she said that when we got home,we had to open it.So of course we did.Guess what it was? A new dinner service!! But the best part of it is,it's got hand painted chickens on it!! It's gorgeous!!!

I love them. I was saying to hubbie the other day that I would like a denby dinner service. But I think I want chickens now!!!

They are really heavy stone as well and all hand painted so each chicken is slightly different.

They are really tought oo - Rosie was kindly given a place setting in that pattern a couple of years back and they've lasted well.
