craftyhunnypie
It's true! I think I heard 2 and a half week old Ginelli the lavender pekin chick...... crow! I walked in my front room with my heavy snow boots on & it obviously didn't like the clonking. It made these funny crow noises, like a quail crowing, but it had the neck stetched too. At such a young age, I am truly shocked. I've had them start at 8 weeks, but this is just funny funny! I'm watching it like a hawk! Angels4
That is the cutest thing EVER. I thought you meant a teddy bear but wasn't sure. I thought about chucking a teddy bear in with the girls last night it has been so cold.
craftyhunnypie
Well I hatched 2 chicks for my sister. She named the first one Gino ( after I'm a Celebrity). The second one she called Ginelli. So they are named after Gino Ginelli ice cream - not because we expected a boy. Gino is a blondey brown frizzle ( I think girl). Ginelli is a lavender (beautiful) plain feathered.....erm boy. I don't know what my sister will think, not told her yet. But I personally would like to keep him if she doesn't want him - don't tell hubby. Sister lives on a farm anyway - so boys shouldn't be an issue. It's the mother in law that has the issues! craftyhunnypie
Gino & Ginelli are now in their new brooder at my sister's house. Not only do I think Ginelli is a boy, I also have my suspicions about Gino too. A lot going on in the headgear department. I'm thinking that my 2 Tiddlywinks & Scrabble are both girls. Not much going on in the headgear department for just over 6 weeks old & no obvious feathering differences. However, I did want a frizzle boy...as The mighty Spongebob will be in his 3rd year next year. Ahh bless. Emma.x
