Griffin
A mixed reaction from the ladies, mostly abject horror and misery but a few seem to find it amusing The kids were up way before I was so they let most of them out. I got up to find this queue forming outside the garage door to get inside to huddle up to the growers brooder with heat lamp This was the scene at the other end of garden, barely a chook in sight: Once I'd dug out their food and waterers and sorted them all out I took a billion photos Majestic Boris: Tiger Lily looking grumpy: Spectacular Steve: Horrified Hob"Ooops, word censored!": Francesca refusing to budge: Sausage taking advantage of a spillage: Mrs Pants doesn't seem to mind it: Maggie May on the otherhand wants to hibernate: Sausage & Doughnut wondering why one of the feeders is still buried: Of course, the obligatory Poppy shot: My bucket was mugged! Daphne
Hob"Ooops, word censored!" is a real sweetie and Francesca looks as stately as a brahma should but whats happened to poor Maggie May
Griffin
but whats happened to poor Maggie May I'm afraid that's her natural expression A friend got her for me at Salisbury, she was sold as a Pekin. Yeah right! Half of her might be but the other half is something else She hasn't laid any eggs yet so I can't be sure but I reckon one parent might've been an Araucana. Griffin
Yep she's a bantam Frizzle and I hope to hatch some more of her this year. I bought her as a day old from Luci at The Birdhaus. I'm feeling very broody for some Silkie chicks so I might contact Luci to see if anything is laying and maybe shove a few Frizzles in too
