Are these chilblains?

Recommended Posts

My son said the same about wearing a coat to school. We even bought him a trenchcoat when he was at college - for a trip to Germany when it was colder there than here. He never wore it. Now for the last couple of years you can't get it off him. It has suddenly become 8) . Although I tend to walk around without anything on my feet - kind of like the female version of Fred Flintstone!

my children with not wear coats full stop.

:D

I never wear coats  The only one I have is a ski jacket that I'd wear if we were going sledging/to the park but other than that its just hoodies/jackets

I can see the sense in waterproof jackety things that you can scrunch up in the bottom of a bag ... but always forget mine

I'm always too hot and then there's nowhere to put it so it's carrying it round all day

I suffer from terrible chilblains and I sympathise so much! I used to use Snowfire, which I reckoned worked well, then I tried Belmosa which was good too. The best solution, without any doubt though, is a pair of Crocs! (plus a pair of warm socks) The little "Ooops, word censored!"bles inside the foot of the Croc keeps/gets the circulation going. I come in from the cold with freezing feet, but on my Crocs and within a short time feet are warm and no chilblains. My daughter has the same problem with chilblains and she was told to wear Crocs then bought me a pair. :D

(Incidentally, I have also been told many times about using wee, but haven't tried it.)
