I got so engrossed in what I was doing, I had hints - very loud ones for tea. My bad - it was only just 4 and they've been having their tea much later. Just because it's wet. Hmmph. Erin grabbed hold of Mini today and had her on her lap. While I was ironing there was an Eddie Murphy film on that I was half watching. I think Mini fancies Eddie Murphy.

Mini reminds mum of her grandmother. :eh::eh::eh: I'm part chicken? :eh::eh::eh: No, it's the long black dress with Edwardian bustle.

We have too much black plastic floating around - a relic from the allotment, and it's started to get brittle - but great for covering run entrances to stop the snow and keep naughty cats off the dirt bath. It's not too bad for putting over veggie beds - sadly the woodmice think it's quite nice too to hide under. So the beds have been left to the elements this year, but must get a grip this year. I have been very naughty all round.

Oooh a space hopper. Murray had one for his birthday (remember it hurts his um, bits), so I had a go the other day. "Ooops, word censored!"ody saw. :anxious: But it's a huge one and there's the problem of where to shove it. Erin loves playing on it - so we said it had to go in her room. Ah, that will explain no room for her clothes Pisa tower.

Glad Dan had a good time at the farm.

I wonder how Lewis got on today. Can't iron very well with crossed bits you know.

Maybe he can't hear us?

LEWIS!!!! How did you get on????

There that should do it

Well, I have sorted out my living room and can now see both my tables

(However  that they were untidy in the first place)

I have now had a shower, put my PJs on, and I am having a glass of Orange Juice before I go to bed.

CW - Drive safely tomorrow over the penines :D

Koojie :shameonu: I can't believe I missed out on the chance to play on a space hopper on Sunday  Also Koojie, JJ lives in North Wales, and it honestly wasn't much of a detour to come to yours on Sunday :D

Ok then guys night night (although I may read in bed, as I want to make sure Phil is home safe before I go to sleep)

Oh poo the page disappeared with my posting.

Ahem. I was getting JJ muddled with Laura  - still JJ would be much nearer. Hmmm JJ hasn't posted . . . recently . . .

I expect Lewis has gone to visit little bro this evening. I don't know where the hopper's gone! Wish the clothes pile would vanish just as well. I remember we used to have tables somewhere.

I agree with you - can't relax until I know everyone's safe - late night for Erin, so I'm watching the end of the X-men. So I'll say goodnight for now.

xxx

No need to shout

Just got back .... I did say I'd be late

Had my first exam at 9 which was ok, about the countryside + things then I should have gone into isolation so I couldn't tell anyone who hadn't done the exam yet what the questions were, but I went to the common room them library to revise - I had a feeling I needed to know about a disease from seeing a past paper so printed off about peritonitis and Orf.

2 exact same questions as last year were on it ... "Discuss the causes, symptoms, treatment and prevention of a NAMED disease in a NAMED animal species." - I knew everything about it, so that one was ok

The other was to give problems caused by pedigree breeding in dogs and how to stop the problems.

Everyone else went to town at 1 but I had my 2nd exam so got there for 3 and had to wait for a couple more friends to come then we got in the queue (jumped over to meet everyone else ).

It was a really good night :D

Simon is ill so Louis Walsh stepped in. Some of the people were awful so we booed them off - the one 'comedian' that wouldn't give his age - we started off the chant after that ... and then I started an 'Off!' at Piers when he dissed Brum :lol:

They were encouraging us to scream and boo and shout so it looks good on the tele, and we had to do staged ones that they can use all the time.

There were a few good auditions that didn't get through! - the bin ban and another man, Conrad the black stallion  - he did a dance and stripped with his back to us then held up an england flag .... but, well it was a bit pointless it being there! The girls were all screaming!

Nat's been being sick all day and still on morphine and hadn't eaten/drank all day so was still in, he came home late tonight :)

We have Biology and Physics practicals tomorrow :( - have a past paper to do but really can't be bothered :lol:

Sounds like you had a good day Lewis. Glad little bro is home - he'll feel much better in the comfort of being with his family. Hope he feels better today. Good luck with the exams today.

Naughty Squirt pecked me again this morning - she likes to target the back of my hand while I'm putting dishes down - she now has a wet tummy where Madam Cokralle shoved her down rather unceremoniously. She was fine yesterday. :?

Commiserations to you Clootie. I think you'll have to take a huge flask with you.

Muz is off to buy a red van and I'll be freeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Even though he has s"Ooops, word censored!"ed a load of plastic off the interior of mine. Nice of him to put some protection on the boot and passenger door before loading up with things for the dump - WHAT PROTECTION? 3.gif

Hello. Today I have mostly been staying in out of the rain. My nephew has the chicken pox, luckily we've all had it, my brother had to take the day off to look after him. They both work full time, so will be interesting to see what they do next week if he still can't go to nursery. So glad I don't have to worry about things like that.

Going again now, will have to start the tea soon. Byeee

I think all I remember about chicken pox is they're itchy :(

ISA's were ok, Biology was so slow + boring - count the bubbles that come off a photosynthesising plant in liquid

Physucks was less boring, but still not exciting  We all left after half the time.

Not nice chicken pox. Ciaran had it so bad he wouldn't let me cuddle him - the number of bicarb baths he was having. The most gross thing was he kept his huge scabs in his bedroom drawer for years (even the ones in his hair - they still had hair stuck to them) :vom::vom::vom::roll:

Tell them not to put on calamine lotion - it dries and pulls.

I'm back again, I'm so excited, Danny's just discovered he's got a wobbly tooth. He cried his eyes out when he found out - Oliver had just yanked something out of his mouth, which he shouldn't have had in his mouth in the first place - but I've told him all about the tooth fairy now, so he's cheered up. I'm so excited! Must stop myself from wobbling it for him though

What's the going for tooth fairies these days do you reckon?

Oliver had terrible chicken pox, he really was covered in them, even in his eye. The doctor prescribes calomine cream now, they told me the lotion dries out the skin.

I really am going now, must cook tea. Byeee again!

Great to hear Phil is OK with his mummykins. Have a nice dinner - then early to bed to catch up on your beauty sleep.

Oooh lucky Danny - he's getting a big boy now. I agree it was £1 when my two lost their teeth much to my disgust - 'twas a sixpence in my day. I wasn't impressed with the tooth fairy when my brother lost his - no more sixpences and 5p he had - a whole shilling! Garghhhh. The fairy's excuse was that it was the smallest silver coin. And my mum kept my teeth too. I have them in a little jewellery box (why?) and I did the same with my two - each have their own box (why?????). I did find my teeth once and mum said it was because the fairy was taking her time to transfer them down the end of the garden because she needed them for paving slabs to her little house. I was quite happy with that answer. Ciaran lost his first tooth while at school. They gave him a little brown envelope to put it in and when he got home he was playing with it and it fell down the side of the settee, so we tipped it upside down, pulled the bottom off and there was no sign of the tooth. Mass panic no tooth fairy - so we wrote her a letter and she came and left a tiny letter with tiny writing saying it was OK because she could find it because she was little. We still have that settee and I still wonder what happened to that blasted tooth.

The steak was yum yum yum, we had it with Marsala Cream Mushroom sauce, Asparagus and I had Jerusalem Artichokes and Phil had potatoes.

Now having a nice chilled glass of South African Chenin Blanc, I know its bad on a "school" night, but have had a very hard day at work (albeit good) so thought I deserved it :P

Koojie - have written the envelope and handed it to Phil, so as long as her remembers to post it tomorrow, you should have it Saturday.

Now everyone is going to think "I wonder what Debs is sending Koojie"

I'm not going to tell :shh::lol:
