Does anybody ever feel.......Part # 13.

Recommended Posts

Morning all!

Why do I always miss the parties? And I missed ice cream - I've never had cookie dough ice cream. I like toffee, caramel, nutty ones.

 Its the best!

We'll have another party tonight and you'll have to have some then

Is everything ready for Latvia?

I was awake at 9 but not ready  so I assume we'll be going in a bit :)

Good luck Debs! :D - will check the webcam if we're in 8)

Is everything ready for Latvia?

Erm....no! We've checked in though! And the car park is booked. I'm trying to think in my head what I need to pack for myself and the 2 boys. It mostly involves thermals, and stuff that doesn't weigh too much and doesn't take up much space. Any suggestions for what to take onto the plane to keep them occupied? It's only a 2hr flight so shouldn't be too bad, and we'll have my in-laws there to help entertain/control. I've never flown before, so getting a bit nervous now :anxious:

I need a daytime party, I usually turn the pooter off at teatime, so I can pay attention to the kids - I'm easily distracted otherwise and nothing gets done

We're flying with Ryanair, and you have to check in online before you go and print off the boarding card things, otherwise they won't let you on. We have to leave our house about 1am to get to East Midlands airport, think the flight is 6:30am, so I doubt they'll go back to sleep once we've got in the car. Don't think I'll get much sleep before we go. They're 2hrs ahead of us, so we'll be thinking it's about 8:30am when we land, but there it'll be 10:30, goodness knows when we'll be eating. At least there's not far to drive once we're there.

Tea party sounds good, tea and cakes.

Afternoon my crazy friends (although probably feels nearer bedtime for you Cloots  )

I'm all ready for my Hen Party, the sign is in the window, the girls are ready, the house is as ready as it will ever be  The table in the kitchen is set with mugs, glasses, cakes etc. The table in the living room is set with an array of chicken items. The chairs for 8 people are sorted, and there is a card table with my flip chart on :D

Hard work though

Lets hope they appreciate my efforts and enjoy the course.

I have decided to make it a bit more interactive, by having samples of chicken food stuffs in ramekins, and playing the guess the item and then deciding if its essential or not :P Of course, as far as I'm concerned they are all essential but I am insane! :D

See you all later, I can't party tonight though, as my lovely husband is taking me for a nice meal tonight

Ooh, Debs'll be mid course! :D

Just checked the webcam, can't see any people, wonder if they're playing guess the essentials?

We were ready to go but Nan came, then some friends who live 3/4 of an hour away came round so we've still not gone ... I knew it wouldn't happen

Father wants to get the concrete in bulk from Gardeners World not B&Q, so maybe go there today and B&Q tomorrow

Suppose I could start to dig it today once they're gone :)

Course all done, it finished at 3pm, and I have been doing the post course sort out

It went well I think. Well, I enjoyed myself  Although I do think that they realise I am an insane chicken keeper

2 people had chickens already, 1 has had some bantams for a week, the other had chickens but her OH did most of the work with them. Her friend wanted ex batts, and the other 2 sets of 2 were thinking about getting chickens :D

My girls were mostly good, although Sarah-Jane took exception to be used to demonstrate how to wing clip :notalk:

Right, I have an hour to chill out, then get ready to go out tonight, although I am feeling a bit tired now. Its been ages since I have run a training course, and I am feeling rather worn out after 2 hours of "performing". I did get a few laughs though :P

 Well done Debs. I expect Sarah-Jane will sulk a little and forget it all once the treats are on tap again.

I just opened the back door - they are queueing as I type - and threw out some mealworms. Something wasn't quite right. 1234567 - who's missing? Where's Skye? Skye? Skyyyeeeee?

Saw a piece of plastic waving in the breeze - possibly a reflection in the greenhouse doors. Nope it's a bit of plastic in the greenhouse waving in the breeze - doors open as it was a bit damp this morning. That's not plastic - it's a wing. Skye was having a lovely bath in the old compost in a bucket ready to throw onto the garden. Thing is she matched the galvanised bucket so well I couldn't tell until her little head popped up!

Glad it went well Debs :D

Could you take some colouring books on the plane PT? That might occupy them for a bit.

I've just been sent inside  Si has started WIR no 2 :dance: and apparently i was interfearing :eh::notalk::roll: We have already had a minor problem in Focus carpark. I suggested getting trellis which we could then cover with weldmesh which he thought was a great idea. However, the two big bits 6x6 wouldn't fit in the van :lol::roll: He had to go back into the store and swap them for smaller fence panels.

Glad it went well Debs :)

I think father has actually realised I won't stop nagging until WIR is done  ...

Just been to Wickes to get the cement, ballasty sand stuff and he's looking at hiring a cement mixer (he can't carry and mix anything because of his back so easier for us both) :). Finally!:D

He's got half term week off so he said we can try + make a start tomorrow but the panels won't be finished until when he's off :)

 Poor long-suffering Mr Wescott.

Fancy those ladies not eating your yummy delights! They have no idea what they were missing. OK Debs's after party party coming up - lot's of cake to get through.

Mum is very testing today - which resulted in me snapping a few times earlier then feeling bad about it, but she goes on and on and on about something - mum I don't know and I don't care either. So she laughs and goes on and on and on . . . :wall:

Erin has gone up to London - to a place beginning with a vowel (probably Wembley in that case!) and that's all we know. Her little mate is meeting her at Waterloo and guess what? It's The Blackout - well I should have known.:lol: Ah it's in Camden. So much for a vowel and it is part of a Kerrang thing too.

Well we are having roast chicken (not Squirt yet) for dinner and I can smell it mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. So off to do the veg now. See you later.

Just back from Footloose - was really good :D

I knew a few people in it and watching it, they did a good job :)

They had some good lights, and the set was good too.

Given us an idea of the show + now looking forward to us doing it in June/July :D
