Squirty still limping but not sitting down like yesterday. She has been digging using both feet though. Snow seems to be rain now. The girls look at me as though it's my fault.

Erin's cold has left her a little husky. She'll have to train it herself though.

Adam and I have been to Northamptonshire Poultry Clubs show today We met up with Tasha and Dappy Chick and her OH, her Mother in Law, Sister in Law and husband and later on met Joybelle to Adam really enjoyed his first show and wants to show eggs now We also came away with two new girls......well you didn't expect me to go where there were sale pens and not buy did you?!

Just been out with my darlings, they have been in a funny mood today. At one point they all stopped and looked alarmed I was there and could see no danger

 

They are back in the run now happily enjoying some mealworms and corn.

 

Susan the Silkie started back laying again yesterday, and laid again today Probably means she'll be broody in a week or two though

I got 5 eggs from 5 girls today, they loved their very very clean cube I think... I mean its always clean but bubby gave it a really good clean with the jet wash for me. I gave them extra bedding and we got praise in the foom of an egg each... bless their gratefull little hearts.

 

the WIR looks lush in there, I thought I could pop a hammock in the corner and be very happy.

I've sat out in my run today, its been great

 

I had a lovely conversation with Susan whilst she was having a very long drink.

 

Every time I said something to her, she bokked back. Anyone who'd have seen us would have thought we were stark raving mad

am going to lend them my eglu for intros in the spring to make it easier for them, she would like Orps and a bluebelle like me!!!!!

Mmmm, not seen that rum before - it looks a little like Pusser's. Probably quite strong too - yummmmmmm.

 

I'll swear Mini has some Aussie in her - she goes ooh ooh ooh ooh ooooHHHH rather quietly but with a raised last note like asking a question. We can chat for ages - I just make up the answers and hope they are the right ones.

 

And . . . . today we had our first 5 egg day!

Aaaaahhh...my brain hurts, and my wrist aches...I have been counting pennies, 2 pences, 5 pences and 10 pences for Chichi. All the stuff that's been hiding under the parentals bed in the piggy for a year.
