Chicken Licken
It is the end of January, it is dark and damp outside, and my body really wants to curl up and hibernate.....the question is which sort of choclate should I plan to take with me - at the moment a nice mug of tea and some maltesers would fit the bill - what do you think???? I think the girls would like tesers too!

Sheilaz
.... I think the girls would like tesers too! Just a word of caution...chocolate is poisonous to chickens, and some other creatures. All the more for us then, Chicken Licken! For some reason, I was immediately drawn to this topic. I'm totally with you on the hibernating at this time of year, with lots of chocolate, any sort of chocolate!
Cookie
I've just hoovered up half a large bar of almond G&B, washed down with a nice glass of cold milk whilst watching a programme about looking after your heart Any chocolate by G&B would be my recommendation. But don't watch a telly programme about health or food whilst you're enjoying it. Love, Cookie. xx

Egluntyne
My New Years resolution was to give up chocolate as I'm piling the pounds on.....so not a morsel has passed my lips this year! One month down.....eleven to go. To be honest, I've not really missed it.....yet.
Chicken Licken
Ooohh - I am so proud of you egluntine - I am considering giving up sweets for lent - It may help to shift those winter pounds. The trouble is at the moment I am at home, feeling poorly and the thought of some tasty chocolate and crawling back up to bed is very tempting!! Lesley
I'd normally have been straight in here - but I'm not eating chocolate at the moment as I have a problem with my sense of taste, and - like nearly everything - it tastes really horrible Someone else can eat my G&B's - for the time being
Trish
Oh Lesley, that sounds dreadful, any ideas what they problem is. Poor you
Lesley
Yes, I think it was a medication I was taking. I've stopped now but am still waiting to enjoy my food again. You know it's serious if I can't eat chocolate I can only taste salt and ginger!
chocchick
Poor Lesley. I'm not that fussy about the type of chocolate (fair trade/not nestle would be nice though), but milk/white best, I would however eat dark if that's all there was. or cake.... or biscuits.... Less bits between the chocolate usually better too. OH's sister bought us a chocolate fountain for Christmas Why limit to just this time of year though?
