The Dogmother
Just logged onto mine and spotted this one: WANTED: EGLU CHICKEN CUBE i know it is a huge ask but you never know if anyone has a omlet eglu cube they know longer require please please get in touch many thanks in advance Now, there lies a story... someone posted on the Banbury page a couple of years back, asking for an eglu. Mostly in jest, I posted back saying 'you'll be lucky ' and directed them to the 2nd hand section on here. Turns out that she was a friend of our neighbour and had been hanging over my fence admiring the chooks. However, she truly thought one would come up for free and I don't think they ever bought an eglu, nor got any chickens.

dancing cloud
The world is doomed. These people breed. Made me splutter my coffee - and then I had to explain to my concerned member of staff (it's not that they love me, they just don't want my job to be a cost-saving!) My very favourite post was someone who wanted a double bed, must be a divan base with working drawers and new mattress, oh and they didn't drive so if you wouldn't mind delivering it, and they were disabled, so if you could see your way to taking it up the stairs and assembling it they'd be jolly grateful Actually, I don't remember them saying they'd be grateful! We get the usual requests for fully-working white goods (or preferably steel finish), flat screen tellys and PC's/laptops, but that one definitely stuck in the mind. I have found good homes for my unwanted coffee tables, rocking chairs and trampette through freecycle, but can only claim to have received plants for the garden (from a lovely elderly lady who used to work in an egg factory and was delighted to hear about my ex-batts ). Do you think anyone would like to give me a holiday home in Trinidad? Preferably fully furnished (must be new furniture and very tasteful), large garden fully planted with citrus fruit trees (I don't like gardening so please provide the gardener), uninterrupted sea views. Oh and I don't especially enjoy flying on big commercial planes, so if you could see your way to throwing in transport on a private jet with a quality champagne ... Anyone? Nicola O
I had a good one the other day..... Some one was offering their 'service hatch' the other day (the little hole in the wall/doors linking kitchen to dining room).....but, by the way.....it's still in the wall at the moment so whoever wanted it would have to remove it themselves.....and brick up the hole........and plaster over it before they left.....
