The four new chicks, 3 hatched last weekend, one the weekend just gone

 

 

 

I bought this which looked ever so small when I Googled it:

 

 

But LOOK!!

 

 

Dont worry I'm not going to fill it, I doubt Clarets heart could take it

 

6 x Pekin eggs due to hatch in 10 days

 

Going in tomorrow:

 

Partridge Wyandotte bantams

Blue partridge Wyandotte bantams

Gold Thuringians

 

There is a growing layer of chick crumb and Aubiose on the ground floor of our house

 

Next plan is a brooder shed

They are very rare, only a handful of breeders in the UK, the silvers are amazing, there was one at the Northern show (which is where I fell for them..) he looked so proud and was showing off

All the other chicks came from a chap who sadly had to give up all his chooks

 

They are 4 Cream Legbars, 2 French Copper Black Marans, 1 Black Silkie and 3 Pekins
