Martin B
I hope the new car brings you as much fun as herbie did! I'm sure you'll like her, and she'll like you! Martin
AnnieP
Sorry about Herbie Louise. I remember a conversation we had about cars via PM when I first joined the forum, and I know how much you loved him. I am sure his new owners will be very excited about having him and will lavish love and attention on him... Good luck with the new one... sounds.. erm..... interesting... Louise
It isn't a sweetie pink it is a dark dusky pink The newer Yaris does not seem to come in this colour it was a special edition mine is nearly 5 and I have seen a 4 year old one in the same colour but that is it Cordoba Red I think it is called I think Ford have a similar colour in their new vehicles My mum said she had seen a similar colour in a different make of Japanese car the other day too It was a nice drive in this morning I am still learning where everything is in the car but I will get there she is very nice
Guest
You didn't get the Yaris from Wheels at Whitecraig did you Louise - they had one the other week, that I had a seat in, but chookiehubbie didn;t like it, and I noticed that it was away today when we were there. It was a sort of deep maroony pink colour, and was really quite nice!
Louise
No Shona I got it from Belmonts Suzuki down at Sighthill Sounds like the same colour though I am hoping to give it a wash and get some pics this afternoon when I get home

The Dogmother
I see what you mean Louise - she IS very pretty isn't she? Will clash a bit with my van, but goes well with my hair!
Egluntyne
Its a lovely car and a gorgeous colour. (Why not call her Claret?!??)
The Dogmother
What a brilliant idea Egluntine (I was debating going back to plain brown hair next time, but Martin was so nice about the colour of it when I saw him on Saturday, and another friend said to keep it, that I am thinking of keeping the claret colour now). Egluntyne
I should keep it if I were you! Mine was a natural auburn in the past. When it started to need a bit of help, I went burgundy. Was persuaded to go brown recently. Its OKish but I prefer a bit of pazzazz.
The Dogmother
I think mine's practically white underneath now, but I used to have deep reddish-brown hair (Ex soon changed that!). I like the red personally, but my mother keeps going on about it being 'unsuitable for a woman of my age'. But then I never feel or act my age, so I may keep it and she can just lump it. I went tabby a couple of years ago (there's a pic somewhere on my album) but the blonde bits didn't suit my dark skin. http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=6825 Here's the pic sorry for hijacking your thread Louise! The Dogmother
That's ok, at least you weren't trying to post them from an Omlet album - that just doesn't work at all - you have to put in a link like I did above

Snowy
LOVE the car Louise! No help with names though - not very imaginative with names! Gorgeous colour! Your hair looked great tabby Claret, but while you can get away with claret, go for it I say! It definitely suits you! One day you won't be able to get away with it any more - that's the time to go tabby!
