The neighbour hasn't heard the chickens in 4 years - they hear Jemima all the time - she did say she likes it though She just shouts and shouts and shout ... for any reason. "Gerald! Gerald!" I think the ducks running towards each other should be filmed in slo mo - perhaps with Chariots of Fire as background music. So I leave you all for 5 minutes and you are hatching plans to nick Deb's girls. Debs - fancy a buffyblue orpie or two. I know where you can have a gold laced chick. Just found out last night that the dog escaped out the front and tried to attack Erin while she was in her car? It was snarling and running all around her and she nearly reversed it into Murray's car while she was trying not to run the dog over - she'd gone to pick up mum on Friday. Mum said "we don't get out until the coast is clear" - our neighbours eventually heard the commotion and came to retrieve it - didn't even apologise. Now it's owners like that who need the tagging and expensive insurance - not the decent dog owners. I didn't get to do any veg sowing either. I am told that Murray's cousin and husband will be staying overnight on Wednesday because they are coming to Erin's Head Chef evening. And for those fans of Astonish - I bought in bulk direct and got an e-mail from them this morning - I haven't run out of my granite bits yet! http://www.astonishcleaners.com/ I gather they are a petrochemical company. I think the oven cleaner (which I also like) has bicarb in it - although I can't be sure. It does the job anyway. Oh your poor mum, Claire - I sympathise big time. And he has announced that he is going to stay with them this weekend did I want to come too. How nice. So as I don't want to rain on his parade I'm hoping that everyone will go away and I'll have my house to myself. Oops forgot Mum - oh well I'll drop her off on Saturday morning. Her Friday visits became Friday stopovers and now has become Saturday night stopovers too. No wonder Murray wants to get away. I need to rearrange mum's visits and I expect I'll get "you don't want me" and "I won't come I'll only get in the way" and other such comments.
