Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 15

Recommended Posts

Debs -you've done it this time - hundriddies of pages to look through in my inebriated state. Hic.

Aunty Debs congratties and well done Tegan.

I think it sort of blurs into injury time and alcyfrol after that - and must look at the little Abraham Lincoln chicks.

Erin's evening went like a house on fire. Well the kitchen was on fire at one stage (not Erin's fault - one young lady left a plastic tub of butter on the hotplate and it melted and spat fireballs everywhere! I did hear someone yelling OH ERIN!!!!!!!!! And then her man in charge teacher went racing into the kitchen - never seen him move so fast! She said they nearly called the fire brigade, but managed to throw a fire blanket over and put it out. They then had to clean the kitchen before any more servings, but were unable to use the cooker after that. The poor girl was in tears because she thought she might have to pay to replace the cooker (at £5000 each I think I would cry too) - and it was her mum's birthday and they were at the table behind me! I didn't notice the delay - but my pal neighbour D and I were romping through a very nice South African white wine.

Food was nice and the choccy mousse dessert was lovely even if one of the girls forgot to put Bailey's in it.

Erin says that she has been told that she will be given a higher mark because they all coped well with the fire and she kept a level head throughout. She said she wasn't going to be a chef and decided to be firm with everyone, but also wanted it to be fun. Her manincharge teacher told me that she was quite cool, calm and collected (and that was before the fire). She thinks that the cooker will be able to be repaired.

There were little decorative shamrocks on the tables - mum threw loads in her hair (can't take her anywhere - and that was before her Irish coffee)! That amused D's daughter.

Oh and to round it off - Irish coffee and Murray drove home hic hic.

Off to see the chicks now

See yers.

Thanks Lewis (and Debs good vibes earlier) - what a drama - it will certainly be remembered! Her chef teacher only discovered that she was a vegetarian today when she declined tasting some food.

Erin was really cross with one of the girls because she told her to get the manincharge teacher - and she said "no I'm busy" - and she wasn't! She was told twice and refused - never mind everything in flames. One of the other girls went instead. Words fail me there!

Oh and there was a former student that sang some Irish songs - he was dressed as a leprechaun - Erin dared him to wear it. The outfit came with a ginger beard! Actually he was the person who showed us round when we first found out about the kitchens at the college - it was because of him and another teacher that Erin was sold on the course. :D

Nighty night - me's off too.

Morning all :D

Glad Erins night went well Koojie, although that girls not listening :shameonu: Erin should have gone into Gordon Ramsey mode, and started slamming things down by her and swearing, that would have got their attention

Biology is hard at A Level, I know because I sat it and failed miserably  I got an E

Do they still make you do a lot of drawing Lewis? I reckon thats why I failed, as I didn't sign up for A Level Art

Laura - Nice to see you, although you are in a different timezone to me

JJ - The French exchange student sounds like fun, although you can still pop on here, as its your sisters job to entertain them :P

Right work calls, I have already done an hour, decided to take a quick Omlet break, and now back to it

Diplomatic good morning from me too!

Debs - aforementioned girl is not very popular - she takes other people's property without asking (teachers aware but look away) and generally does absolutely nothing - whether she's in the restaurant or the kitchen, and I think if Erin did expletive language it would have the same result. But everybody else had fun and worked hard. Erin said no point in getting angry - some are first years and accidents do happen (don't think she was expecting such a big one! ) so they learn from the mistakes - hopefully - and move on. She prefers the encouragement mode.

Oooh a French Student - she should be introduced to us! :D
